One thing that I could say about this cadence is no matter what anybody else plays, JSU could always just play this cadence and it would sound good enough for whatever anybody else is playing LOL. Santa Clara Vanguard??? Well, directly after SCV get through playing all of the stuff that they play, JSU could be in the background behind them jamming with this and sound good while playing less notes.

VERY nice! Jack State is probably the best line I've ever seen in person. I marched CGHS in Gwinnett County in the late 90's and we thought UGA's line was awesome...until Jack State rolled in as the exhibition band at a competition one year. Glad to see that bass line is still kicking it now just like they were then!

I’m thinking the same thing. But wcu is a college band but I mean when they went to march in the Macy’s thanksgiving parade they had like 63 cymbal.
@OldManAP3 жыл бұрын
It’s not that unusual for large college lines to have a lot of cymbal players. The director, music department, and/or athletic department may want to field large numbers just to “look cool”, so they’ll take a lot of cymbal players that try out for the line but couldn’t hang on a drum. Also, since college bands tend to play a lot of stuff that begs for drum set grooves, a lot of percussion directors like to have enough cymbal players so that every snare player can have someone to hold hi-hats for them and still have cymbal players left over to play crashes.
@Its_Leauxsacks_Music10 ай бұрын
I think that the front ensemble members play cymbals with the drumline when not playing shows. I could be wrong though
