Why don't you always cut out the mesh of your swim trunks as you say you prefer without? it's super simple to do

I don't think it's necessary but that depends on how comfortable the trunks are otherwise. I have found some trunks will have soft interior near the fly and seams. My first thought when I see guys wearing underwear under their trunks is juvenile, or their wearing the wrong shorts.

Never underwear even if there is no liner. It chafes and doesn't dry. Better yet, cut the mesh liner if they have one

That's tough, so many options but I would say great price-quality ratio in my experience can't go wrong with Everlane. I also looked at Marine Layer which are great but can be a bit pricey-er.

Please don't find this offensive. I think your legs are kinda weird mate,the same size all the way through you may want to build bigger quads,either that or your calves are too big idk plus the fact that your hairs are blonde(I have that problem myself)seems like you shave.But if you build big hamstrings and the muscles above the knee any shorts that fit above the knee will scream manliness :D

Every single one of these brands are fashion brands they're not dedicated board shorts swim trunk companies. In what that means is you're going to get about a season out of them and that's it. Due to the fact that they are fashion within six months there relevance is no more. You need to focus on companies like Katin in Birdwell.

Yes, I was wondering why there were no surf brands mentioned. I am in Southern California and shorts from surfing-related brands tend to be seen as best/most authentic.
