Hey homie I’m an r1 owner as well and I mean this with all respect but you gotta get in a habit of not grabbing your clutch on Turns, it stops your momentum in a turn you should always be a little bit on the throttle in turns to avoid your rear wheel from sliding out other than that you ride pretty good

thanks yea I thought it would slide or fishtail if u give it to much gas in a corner I just coast throu thr corners usually bad habit lol

@@The_Initiated it’ll slide a lot easier with the clutch in just work on it brotha don’t need to accelerate much in the turn keeping some throttle on will just keep the tire in forward momentum so it doesn’t just slide out. I’m here in ny so I know the roads at the end of the season can be a bit sketchy but if u get to where you don’t grab that clutch in the turn you’ll be a lot safer, that bikes too nice to lowside lol

yea this footage was one of my earlier rides first time riding the bike at night im much better at it now learning curve, my bike tends to stall if i dont get it above 10 mph before releasing clutch fully

Hey! I’m looking at getting the R1 too but I’m just worried about the winter maintenance and storage. Any tips and tricks about that?

I live in NJ i just remove the battery put it on a floater dont be like me the first year i just parked it in the garage and the battery was dead by next riding season XD. but all i do now is remove battery and keep it in the garage also i fill the tank up before storing it as well.

R1 Alpha awesome! I live in NJ too, but I’m just having a double mind about a motorcycle because of the winter storage. I live in an apartment community with a garage parking. If you do ride in the winter, what gear do you use?

is it a nice area no one is gonna mess with your bike right? if the building allows you to keep it parked there all winter i dont see a problem lol i would be more worried about someone trying to take your bike. uhh in a parking garage i would def cover the bike and keep it parked in gear so no one roll it away( though if its a few guys they can pick it straight up if they are serious)

R1 Alpha yes, it’s a nice area and don’t think anybody will mess with it. I might even get paddock stands so the tires don’t develop flat spots. Thanks for the advice. Happy riding.
