The demon is equiped with 315s nittos in the rear, and an exclusive tire compound for it. Also has stiff suspension in the rear to pop up the front tires (newton's 3rd law), shifting the weight more towards the rear. In turn, accelerates to 60 in 2.3 sec, claimed by dodge.

as for hellcat to demon: more rubber, lighter, different staging and launch control, and suspension designed for straight line take offs. All that is suppose to help it stick, not saying it will but it's not just rubber.. And for Nathan's comment about viper wheels, I believe the car is unibody and that's why the put flares on the demon, because it can't go to the inside.

use the paddle shifters instead of shifting from autostick to drive... it's faster if you click the right paddle twice at a dead stop it will put the car into 2nd gear... after take off hold the right paddle down car will switch into drive.

Years ago I watched a lengthy video/review on the '13 GT500... It too had LC but it's was adjustable via RPM. The driver had it dialed to 3800 at launch and had no trouble spinning like you guys did. 1) Is it possible to customize the Hellcat's LC? 2) I'd LOVE to watch a '13/'14 GT500 vs '17 Hellcat drag race using LC on both. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the 4-year-old big Shelby ran neck & neck with the new big Fiat.
