Ha! After her crunched the numbers... Exactly the point I came to with my '11 SS. And I'd add, not only is it as costly (if not more) to match power, you end up with a car full of problems in my experience. I've dumped thousands into my SS for brakes, suspension and cooling and have brakes that vibrate, suspension that makes a racket... IMO aftermarket can not match the engineering of OEM. I'm going after the ZL1 myself. Enjoyed the vid!

Chevy uses the same steering wheel on both the manual and auto transmission cars. The paddles turn on/off the rev match feature in the manual cars. Its pretty stupid, but not a deal breaker in my book.

But I am talking about the hard plastics, and more importantly, the strange frame around the display that makes it appear tacked on with velcro and half tilted in the wrong direction from any other respectable vehicle on the planet. And I am talking about the design of the pod and the strange shapes that make it obvious that the designers of the Aztec are still working at GM.

Joe should have been doing the majority of the driving and talking IMHO. It is HIS car. :) Chevrolet did an amazing job with the ZL1. Betters the Z06. :) Jag F-type SVR. Audi R8 V10+....Goes like spit and handles. Vs the Dodge Challenger Demon which is a 840 HP 2.2s 0-50 drag street car. No mods needed. :) Borrow someone's Demon if y ou can and put it head-to head with Joe's ZL1...give driving impressions driving them on the street. Keep us updated on Joe's ZL1...if he doesn't mind. Every time he mods his car...but just aftermarket headers? usually the cats and exhaust pipes are changed at the same time. Suggestion for Joe? :)

I still laugh at the z06. 100K 2 heat exchangers no oil cooler no trans or diff cooler overheats after 2 laps ZL1: 60K 11 heat exchangers dedicated cooling for everything.

Loving Joe man. I love every single thing about this car except the back. I didn't see any good shots of the back in this video. Does it still sit kind of high like the Camaro ss and the 1LE sit? Last year, I wanted to buy a Camaro ss but I couldn't because I just couldn't stand the backend. I might compromise for this though because you get crazy performance for the money. It kills the competition. Just have to decide which car to trade in for it: 2012 mustang gt or 2014 evo x gsr.

You're right. The rear end is the cars worst angle. It just looks like a normal Camaro. It needs a diffuser back there or something. Tough decision on which car to trade in. Think about which car would compliment the Camaro more, which is pretty daily driveable itself. Though you probably won't want to beat it up by driving it everyday.

Yes sir! Chevy cheaped out and only uses one steering wheel for both the auto and manual cars. In the manual, both paddles turn on/off the rev match feature.

+Matt I'm sorry matt but as much as I hate to admit he's right. I love the gt350 R but your never going to see one, and in a motor trend test it barely beat the old z28. The Ford GT looks amazing but ford fucked it up with that ecoboost bullshit. I don't care if its better tech use the voodoo v8 from the gt350 and turbo charge it. WTF ford it doesn't even get good fuel economy. The focus and the fiesta are cool but that's it, Your not going to head down to texas and win anything and the taurus sho............really.
