The "Hot Hatch" theme continues with this gorgeous little AMG GLA45. Mike brings me this South Seas Blue Metallic pocket rocket for a full exterior detail including paint correction, glass sealant and ceramic coating. Be sure to check out the extensive list of products and equipment used in the description below. I invested over 24 hours in this project and I was highly satisfied with the results. I won't go so far as to say this project resulted in 100% perfection, but for a full-time teacher who tinkers on the weekend I think you will be impressed. Stay RAD people! 🤘

PapaSmurf918 won't be happy to hear that! I fill the IK sprayer with 2/3 Adam's and 1/3 water. Sometimes, I will use it full strength. It doesn't work nearly as well when you get any higher dilution than that.

I invested 24 hours in the actual detail work over 7 days. I don't even want to know how many hours were spent capturing the various stages on video. It was a lot of work, but I am thrilled with the results.

So, when I was demonstrating the hydrophobic properties of the coating and wax, I poured some water on the fender. The water (just a little bit of it) totally removed the coating on the fender trim. I was so embarrassed. I don't get it. I thought that stuff would have some level of permanence but it just came right off. I was NOT impressed. My search for a true trim coating continues...

I have had that plate for years, but I don't always use it. I drove to the store with it on my car once so now I mostly leave the plate alone.
