For a few of you who have chosen to take issue with the fact that I used my boar's hair detail brush prior to power washing away the foam, I am here to tell you to relax. The areas I used the brushes to dislodge some stubborn dirt from are not prone to scratching and my gentle touch with the brush ensures no paint swirls were induced. I have washed this car so many times and I have never caused damage to it in any way. Lastly, when you watch a project that the creator obviously spent a lot of time and passion creating, be mindful of your tone. I have deleted a few comments that I felt were unnecessarily aggressive and rude. While I appreciate people's comments, there should be a mutual level of respect shown when sharing your thoughts. Good ole Canadian winter! I was at the coin wash fir the water. Had my pro 12 foamer and my rinse-less in a other pump sprayer. Foamec wheels and tires and anything really bad. Soaked it in rinse-less then rinse then rinseless wash soak again and wash. All the salt gone and everything cleaned up. Have to get my garage done but current method gets all the salt off. . Like those new mats!! Going to check them out!

Rick, I want to warn you about cleaning the petrol cap area with the lid open. I was doing the same with my GTD MK7 and the actuator to open the petrol cap failed due to water coming in. The replacement cost me 20 € ( 22 $ ) Not much... but it's just a heads up to take care of that area while you clean it! Nowadays I do it just with a brush and a towel to remove the dirt About the video, amazing quality as always, very relaxing

Funny you should mention that. I had the actuator seize up on me the other day at the gas station. I had to return home to get it working. I think water froze inside and prevented the mechanism from opening. I always use my Master Blaster car dryer to dry out the fuel door, but I guess that's the risk you take. I now pop my fuel door prior to leaving the house for gas in case it happens again!

Thanks Andrew. The SQ5 is currently coated with Gyeon MOHS and it does a wonderful job of preventing the dirt and salt from bonding with the paint. It was incredible how a simple foam stage just melted the encrusted layer of winter road grime away. There’s a video demonstrating the painstaking process I followed when coating it. Hi Clint. I am in love with the brushes as well as the Tuxmats. I have to say, when you get to know the team behind a product (which I have) and hear the passion they have for what they do, you can't help but let that sway you towards loving them. But, these mats are legit. So well engineered, manufactured and fitted to the car. I am a bit embarrassed it took me so long to discover them! I highly recommend both.
