Please don't let the fact that there are so many of us watching you change your hike into something you feel like you have to answer for. You are doing awesome just the way your are doing it. I love watching and listening. I would hate it if you stopped enjoying it to the fullest just because you think you have to do something to make it better for the viewers. This hike is for you, not us. We are just blessed enough to be able to watch what you show us. God bless and be careful.

That was me behind you when you got to the bottom of the trail in Hot Springs yesterday. Tried to find you around town but no luck. If I don't see you, keep it up bro and continue with HYOH. Anyone hating can come on out, strap on a ruck, and start NOBO.

I love watching your videos, you have been posting amazing content. The views are amazing and your camera work is giving those of us at home who can't make it out to the AT a chance to live it through your lens. Whenever you get to towns enjoy yourself. The trail is your work, let the towns be your fun times! Keep up the great progress, and good luck!

As others have said, don't change your speed or style for us. I love your filming style. It is like we are your hiking partners. Oh, and you know we are all wanting to be there too, but life is not letting us...yet. Stay safe and Hike On.

I think you have so many subscribers because you are doing a great job of showing the trail itself and a better job than most with your narrative.
@bhv8097 жыл бұрын
don't worry about hiking for viewers. this is YOUR hike. hike it for yourself alone. a lot less likely to injure yourself and more likely to finish. btw, love the way that you try to show so much of the actual trail and not just the 'views'. awesome job.

Binge watching all of these :) This was the best one yet. Lots of details about how resupply works, where you sleep at these hostels, etc.. Good stuff!

Love the frost on the trees, beautiful. One good thing about the cold, it keeps bugs, snakes and bears away! Hike on buddy! Hiker Steve from Utah.

Please, don't change what you have been doing up until now!!! I feel blessed just having you share the adventure with me so far. In all honesty I am jealous as hell. I had planned on doing a thru hike this year, but, I get to have bypass surgery instead. The Doc says I have to do rehab after that. So now it is looking like 2019 or 2020 before I get the chance. I have watched you from the beginning because you hike like I do. I carry what I can carry, move as fast as I can safely. My wife's version is I am slow, but, i always get there eventually, lol. Enjoy YOUR adventure and stay safe.

Really enjoying catching up with these. I love seeing all the trail parts, not just the great views. Also love seeing what the towns are like so we can get an idea of what to expect. And yep, that was hoar frost, but I have no idea why they call it that, probably some language derivative.

I'm a little late to the party, but don't change how you do anything. This is your journey, we are blessed to feel a part of it. And one more thing... I am a section hiker that would be a week behind you from all the zeros I would likely take ☺

Don't know if it matters to you or not. But if you have ever heard anyone refer to "hoar frost", that is what you saw there. Someone said Furry Frost for your trail name. Fits well, as you mentioned you are getting a few greys there.

If you stick a cotton ball or a small piece of fur over the microphone on your camera you may eliminate the wind noise from your videos. Only a hint on how to improve them. Keep up the good work! Just a note about resupply at standing bear. When I went through in 2016 the year before red mage, most of the items had been expired. So check stuff before you buy it, and do not count on it as a solid resupply place, maybe just somewhere you can buy an extra day before a true resupply. I also got a weird vibe from the place but that could have just been me. yours truly, Heckle
