I think you referenced my comment from many, many videos back about camping on top of Max Patch if could. Yeah.... the weather wasn't right for camping up there for you, but you can imagine what it would be like in good weather. It's such a magical place. After my hike in 2016 I took my 10 year old son up there and we humped a telescope to the top to look at the stars and moon. It's a memory he'll never forget. Enjoy your hike.

Been enjoying your hike. Followed you, reddmage & several others since your start. Interesting that you & reddmage hit Hot Springs at same time--though you hiked in half as many days! Best of luck on your journey.

Man you should do all your videos on the iPhone 6s, the picture quality was terrific!!! The colors of the mountain view were so much better compared to what you regularly record with.

Roger for sure the wind noise is less. GoPro is fine. iPhone might be more difficult and/or bouncy while walking. Either way, stay safe

The GoPro is a rugged camera, but I think most of the newer smart phones take better quality videos.

I am so glad you got a nice clear day for the Max Patch views. Keep on keep in' on with the great footage and great positive attitude. Such fun to see you out there battling the wind and cold and you win. Katahdin is getting closer every day! I hope you get some warmer weather soon.

When's your next zero? I still haven't heard if you'd like a package/dehydrated meals/snacks? If it sounds good ( and you don't have any food allergies) I'll need time, (about a week I'm guessing to prepare them) I have to make mine soon for my trip so making a "double portion" works for me if it works for you?😊

One word: windy Two words: windy AND awesome I couldn't help myself but to point that out! Love your videos! How are you liking your sleeping bag so far? Isn't it the REI Igneo 19 degree bag? I can't remember for sure, I'll have to go back to your gear video, but anyways maybe make a video in about a month or so about what gear you like so far and what you don't really like, for example: your tent , if you are staying in shelters every night, then u don't really need your tent or maybe get a cheap bivy in case you don't make it to a shelter for a night, just putting the thought out there but it's your hike and your channel so do what u want

if you have car payments you have to have insurance full coverage even if its parked..never know if some act of god happens while hes gone and the car is covered..the loan company will get notified by insurance if you let the coverage lapse.
