Shmee doesn't even drive this fast with a McLaren on a fully empty road in the alps. Finally somebody who has the balls to drive like you should to. I am always getting nervous as a M4 owner when I see these KZbinrs driving around like sissies in there 500+ hp cars. Enjoy your videos, proper car vids with proper cars, keep it up!

Before I buy a car I think about what happens if something gets destroyed of it and if I can't afford it I don't buy it so I don't want to assume anything but the show-off aspect means something to them. I unterstand you, I also wouldn't risk to destroy my car volunitirly but I buy a car to enjoy driving it not because I enjoy getting photographed in it. Have a great day:)

Same here this video believe or not inspired me to buy that exact spec and color of the M2. Love the video and I love my 2018 M2. Turns heads everywhere it goes! I will pass it on to my kids as I believe it will be a future classic. I was right about the escort Cosworth's, tried to convince my dad to buy one when they were 13k when i left school in 2001, he never took my advice!

Congrats man! Mine is now sat pride of place on my drive! Long Beach Blue 6MT. still in the "break in" period i absolutely love the thing, although if your not a fan of attention you may not like it as so many people notice you when you drive around, some for good reasons and some probably thinking the opposite, but its a real head turner

@@timothymountain7868 Hi. I owned the M2 for two years, i also have an M140i. In my opinion they are worlds apart, the M2 was slightly better in every way, hard to put into words but driving the M2 was an event, whereas driving the M140 is just like driving a nice car. Were i to buy one now id try and get an M2 comp as i got rid of mine when the comp came out as the comp had everything fixed that i had considered to be wrong with the original M2. Also try and get one pre-PPF, as i feel the soul of the car is lost when its dulled down with that. Im sure youll enjoy it dude

BMW should have let you keep that M2. Love this vid, watching a real person's unbiased enjoyment of the car in a real life scenario. It makes me want to own an M2 far more than any TV advertisement would ever make me want to. BMW if your tuning in, you should be paying Joe a wedge.

Haha - Thanks buddy! Yeah I only buy cars/products off people I can relate to or trust like Chris Harris, I would never buy something from advertising! Brands are slowly realising the power of youtube etc, but I genuinely think they don't quite realise the full impact it can have in terms of influencing fellow minded people. I wish BMW would even lend me the odd press car now and again... I did just get back from my first official BMW UK 5 series launch in Spain though, hopefully the start of much to come... It's tough on here to find a genuine car enthusiast, giving useful feedback about performance & in a stylish way. Many show off, don't know how to drive/or try to drive like a pillock in the most inappropriate places. Alas I digress. Congrats on your involvement with the BMW 5 series launch. Sounds like exciting times ahead for you! One day I might actually get my hands on an M variant. For now i'll just have to stick with ye olde Z4c (Mark I of course). It may not be the best performer, but it's an incredible car for the money on the 2nd hand market & oh so beautiful! Anyway, thanks for contributing, the charity day was another top vid. Ha ha, never thought of it but I’ll have crack at waking up the fine residents of inner city Perth (West Australia) at 5AM when my M240i gets delivered next month or so. I decided on the M240i after watching vids from you (especially the one with Ben, and your 2nd M240i review in Germany) and others. With a Golf 6 already doing family duties, my recent retirement allowed me to treat myself to something as fun, but hopefully more reliable than the Fiat 124 Sport 1600 I let go 30 years ago. The M2 is the duck's nuts, but a tad too hard core for my better half! Anyway, thanks and keep up the great work. I sure am glad I came across your tremendously entertaining and helpful vids before I handed over my hard-earned! Cheers Joe :)
