I am older, 67. My Dad had a Standard Station back in the 1950s.( Chattanooga, Tn.) Old southern guy, but I have been in Central Minnesota for 41 years. I always watch and enjoy your videos. I think many are too quick to criticize and slow to praise. Being an old car guy, keep up super wrenching . Many of us watch ya but never comment. I never have commented, but I wanted you to know. There are many of us out there. Love ya, buddy, and God bless you and yours! A little blonde Swedish gal 👧 brought me north. Ha.

Nice job Kenny. I couldn't help notice the nice Milwaukee m12 1/4" ? ratchet you were using. Been wanting one for a while. Paused video and bought one which included a 2.5ah battery at a great price. Promise I won't go BANANAS tightening anything.

Good evening brother Kenny. I have a recommendation for you and that is to place a moving pad over the front engine area to afford you some protection and comfort. I bought mine at Harbor Freight and it saves from burning yourself or gouging your skin. Great video packed full of details and information.

Cover nuts are not original, but they likely got lost, and replaced with shouldered nuts off a sleeve anchor, as those are that yellow faux chrome plating colour.

Don't know that I'd say Toyota factory replacement [ oem] coils are any better than aftermarket.... they have their issue's . I've had em not work right out of the box ! I work on a lot of Toyota's so maybe I see it more often.

I am having a similar issue with my 2005 Chevy Trailblazer, (167,000) miles on it. Have never replaced the coils or do I have a scanner to read the history of events. Maybe you or someone else can recommend a scanner that not too expensive that can read the history. Love your videos, especially because they are accurate, to the point and no LOUD UNECESSARY DISTRACTING BACKGROUND MUSIC! Thanks.

It just covers the engine. They say it's supposed to reduce engine noise inside the cabin. But you can keep it off if you want too.

@SeanBZA
@SeanBZA Ай бұрын
They need it if you are driving in anything where there is wet weather, so they can have no water ingress. The new coils came pre greased, while the old ones look like they did not.
