Listen Andre the giant,...aka 650ib. Pick on people of your own build, so that you can quit getting your ass kicked using our parts. Weight is VERY important, of course, but we can watch your aerodynamic disadvantage (from your wide upper body) cost you races. Not only can you not properly tuck (said with love!), simple items like the camera placement hampering your tuck, even more, are KILLING YOU. FYI: Lukes gixxer has a basic flash, we will be outfitting him with faster components as they are developed (:

I Agree And stop that fookin 1 gear shit its to many variables the game gz i taught IB had learned.. " gear is 219 times more easy.. Even 3 gear at 60mph is even better then both guys can think about tucking the best way possible.. the gixxer with same miles and sprockets and gearing and octan will actually edge a BMW i think.. at least they will be fookin close.. They also need a after market windscreen to make it close

That guys tuck game is way better than yours. That wind drag can make a big difference!
@raceaddict32127 жыл бұрын
Mezz Mezz I noticed that as well.. i think power for power they were very similar, then I noticed the BMW has a double bubble vs the Gixxer having stock windscreen and the BMW guy had a better tuck, u can see his camera is lower in the bike with his onboard footage plus near the 3 minute mark when he passes 650ib u can see his head is lower than 650ib in addition to having a double bubble. That skywalking was completely a matter of aerodynamics ,not power.. so double bubble and lower tuck I think the Gixxer will be a tie till middle of 6th and then the Gixxer I'm almost certain will have better aeros on the big end as I've tested this bike myself. And s1000s almost always fall off in 6th from aeros from that flat nosed front fairing..

Man! The Gixxer got Handled. I was expecting it to be a bit closer. That S1000RR has devastating top end and can even give H2 riders fits. I would still pick the Gixxer for an all around track bike over the beemer just on its handling attributes alone. Regarding the comments about Ib tucking more: It's true, his camera placement is less than optimal and I always register lower trap speeds at the track when I'm running my camera. It definitely cost him some bike lengths but I still think he would've lost by a couple. The runs were too consistent and the beemer pulled ahead everytime. Poor tuck consequences would have shown up at 150mph plus. Not so much under that.

Been waiting for you to post this video. The results are not surprising due to the stock numbers on the GSX-R. Especially against a battle hard titan such as the bmw s1000rr. Nice video my dude. The 2012 GSX-R got you that first race.
@raceaddict32127 жыл бұрын
Gypsyman Racing this was an aerodynamics race.. the power should be similiar.. BMW guy had better tuck and a double bubble windscreen to help the rider cut thru the wind better.. notice how slow he passed in the upper gears when the wind matters... stock hp means nothing on these new bikes that have throttle by wire and are highly restricted from the factory.. it's the finished product that counts.. sure the BMW makes 15- 20 more hp stock for stock but it's not going to be 20hp ahead when there both tuned with bolt ons.. bmw doesent gain as much as the Japanese bikes when there flashed and tuned and fitted with exhaust because there not as restricted to begin with..this was a very even race and comparison but 650 needs to get lower and or have a similar windscreen as the bmw to stay in the fight..but the power is definitively there..aerodynamics is worth hp for sure and 650 was at a disadvantage in that regard..
@Gypsyman407 жыл бұрын
raceaddict321 I agree that aerodynamics and weight allow you to maximize your bikes hp, certainly. 650 has a bad tuck, which I would account to his height and the size of the bikes. With that said, taller riders should slip better than shorter riders. I feel like the weight played a strong role. Both bikes were unrestricted and had full exhaust. Brock demonstrated that the GSX-R even with a full exhaust and flash wouldn't make as much hp as the bmw with the same modes. Also, all this doesn't matter really because if you pull up to the challenge, you put yourself out there no matter the advantages. Everybody thinks they're fast until them get with someone who is faster. Lol
@raceaddict32127 жыл бұрын
Gypsyman Racing very true indeed and I agree weight does play a huge role but they were identical in weight according to the description part of the vid on screen.. so while the BMW may be a few hp ahead (which even that doesent mean everything) the Gixxer still in my opinion performs better maybe because of power curve, state of tune and aeros.. and depending on how much better aerodynamically it is could easily negate even a 5-10 hp deficit once in 5th and 6th.. also what i think is highly important about this race is that the BMW has the brentune alpha package which is one of there latest and greatest flashes and from a company thats been tuning bmws for a very long time vs a new bike that hasn't been fully figured out as far as optimum state of tune.. the new Gixxers future does look brighter from what i see so far.. I can trap the same mph out of a zx14r as my gen2 busa in a standing 1 mile or rolling 9/10ths of a mile run with same tuner, same mods and me riding both bikes despite the 14r making 15 more whp and 10 more ft lbs of tq.. the aeros of the busa was superior enough to balance out a 15hp deficit.. i do alot of high speed runs so I can look at the vid and tell what the downfall of that Gixxer was and it wasn't so much the power. All aeros..
@Gypsyman407 жыл бұрын
raceaddict321 again I agree on aerodynamics. Still, the gixxer will need more than a tune it seems. I won't be surprised to see the top performers with cams. The busa has incredible aerodynamics since inception. Great chatting with you. Keep it coming

Everyone's talking about the tuck but there are other things that hurt aero/top end pull. Jeans or any clothing that flaps around creates a lot more resistance, gauntlet gloves will make a small difference, sticking your elbows out instead of down by the bike makes a tiny difference, and pointing your toes in helps. Also try to keep your butt back in the seat and obviously your chin close to the tank

Hi 650. I'd love a stab at each of these bikes. For fun. 2016 RSV4RR. Slip on Competition Werkes exhaust. Aprilia Race ECU. Gearing for improved torque. Ideal would be a full Akro exhaust and matched flash. But.....im game to throw down. Im 170lbs so it might balance out. Problem in these races is making sure the rider drops to the ideal rolling start gear. And has pro throttle and shifting techniques. Dead stop races seperate the men from the boys and show the broader power abilities of a bike. Im rambling. Lol. Too bad we live light years away. Lemme know when you land in southern CA. Why run 89? The GSXR recommends no less than 90 octane
@ZX6R2KGT6 жыл бұрын
Because in a video that Brock Performance did with this bike on the dyno they used 89-octane with their flash. The bike made 193 at the wheel. Brock posted on this video about them only having a basic flash on the bike, which I'm guessing is the 193whp flash. They had another video of the bike making 204 by changing the oil to what he normally likes to use and I think MR12.

Gixxers are great bikes for street riding, since they seem to start making power at lower RPM's, but they lack that top end when it comes to these roll on races. I bet it would do a better job in an actual drag race.

good racing, no doubt. But we ALL KNOW. the Suzuki was at a FULL disadvantage from jumpstreet, based on the difference in the spec's(@ 1:19 ) of the 2 bikes. Wheel weight, & drive train weight, matters. Bearings, matter. Octane rating, matters! Level up the spec's on that exact same gixxer to the bmw's spec's, and I got 5k on that Zuke, all day long. The BMW did nothing special. It deserves no glory. It only did, what it was spec'd out to do. Simple.

Brocks ecu flash on the Gixxer? How so. Or should i say who did he use to do the flash.. brocks doesent do ecu flashing if I'm not mistaken unless he just started using a flash software beginning with the new gixxer. All of the ecu flash services on his site are services completed by guhl motors and then mailed back to brocks and then brocks mails the ecu back to the customer.. in his ecu testing video it was another company all together that provided brocks with the flashed ecu so is there anyway u can confirm who exactly flashed and tuned this motorcycle..
@kbell78347 жыл бұрын
raceaddict321 He does flashing now .
@raceaddict32127 жыл бұрын
EcoboostKevin brocks has no flash for this bike available to the public.. I just found out he has the software now to start flashing but has not sold a flash from his own software tuning.. the bike in this video must be a beta test bike that brocks played with.. so all ecu flashes still available on his site still are being shipped to guhl motors.. so as of now brocks still doesent offer ecu flashes officially.. the question is, is the bike in this video a result of brocks trial tune or is it the company called Ftecu (flash tune) from the video he put out showing what the bike does in unrestricted form.. so is it a brocks tune, ftecu tune, or ftecu restriction removal only with brocks pc5 tuning for fueling changes..

650ib can you pleaseeeee ask for me wich gearing does that Gixxer have?

HP differential is negligible. Very rarely will you get straights long on the track to really see how much faster either machine will be in a straight line. Despite similar handling, that GSXR is able to punch out of corners way better than the S1000RR. Near stock too. In my view the GSXR is the faster bike.
