+BarnStangz Good eye and ears too! They do look similar and sound very close too but they aren't basically the same. The configuration internally is close but vastly different. I wish they were basically the same though as then it'd be super easy to squeeze another 30+ horsepower out of the Pioneer. Hopefully the 2018 Honda Talon sports the Africa Twin engine with some breathing mods and a bolt-on Honda Genuine Accesory turbo kit cough cough... Haha! Stock, it's 67 mph.

+John Smith Well, technically there's more to it than just bolting the winch up. The time consuming part had to do with wiring everything from the front to the back of the Pioneer (as crazy as that sounds). If you're ever bored, check out the install instructions for the 2016 model year and you'll see why it took so long. Thankfully with that tweak in 2017, it cut Honda's recommended flat rate from 4.5 hours down to only 2 hours so only the 2016 model year guys have to worry about the extra expenditure. But yeah, $100 / hour can run a tab up real quick haha. Hopefully there's not too many Honda dealers out there that have gotten up that high yet on their labor rates.
