As a proud owner of a 2017 JGC Overland trim, this video puts a smile in my face. I've had my ride for nearly 2 years, and it is still a great awesome American piece of work. It is a luxurious, off road capable SUV, with a price tag after taxes under $50K for the Overland trim with all the luxury, safety, all terrain options. I will hold onto this ride for as long as it makes economical sense, meaning 10-20 years. I have ridden it in nasty rainy muddy weather, going up hills in the winters of northern Cali, and this makes it up with ease and confidence of a lifted truck or modified SUV. Great Jeep, I love it!

Yes its similar in some ways to a Range Rover without it being at the repair shop once a month. I had a Grand Cherokee for 5 years and never had an issue, I loved it thinking about purchasing another Jeep.

I own a trailhawk, and its hard to mistake the volume adjuster for the paddle shifters, because of its metal texture. You can also disable paddle shifters, so much customization. I wish Jeep would update my 8.4 infotainment screen, i own a 2017 and the 2018 is a complete refresh of the uconnect system. Like Jeep could honestly just update it, its just software.

Secret is to tap on top of the metal shifters, not your entire hand or more than 3 fingers. I find it easy to distinguish and use both the metal shifters, and the plastic volume control. Again, try tapping the shifters with only your index and middle fingers, works everytime for me.

The Grand Cherokee Summit looks really nice in the right color like the Slate Blue or the True Blue Pearl Coat which looks great on the Grand Cherokee. I love the front end design on this Summit trim

I love my jeep Grand Cherokee SRT ( soon to be a Trackhawk) I have over 50,000 Km of driving around Kitchener and Toronto and no problems. this is a great daily driver and extremely comfortable

I Love the timeless look of the Jeep Grand Cherokee, and in my opinion it runs rings around the Range Rover and the Land Rover Discovery. That quilted leather on that Summit looks very opulent, and soft. It is a shame as I have not seen one with that upholstery in Australia, and down here we do not even get the 5.7 HEMI version of the Summit…..Grrr!

In my opinion, box test is still valid for an SUV, regardless of the MSRP. People buy SUVs for functionality. Including the ability to pick up stuff at the store.

There is one Jeep Grand Cherokee in 2013 with a 3.6 engine, it has a mileage of almost 800,000 thousand kilometers or 497,096,954 thousand miles !! Not a problem except a broken gearbox !!

Tip:The trick of shifting with paddle shifters with the controls for the stereo behind the wheel is - Using the paddles with your pointing finger while your hands at the wheel at 9 & 3 o clock positions

Well, I own a jeep grand cherokee 2018 limited. I don’t see why Yuri thinks it’s blend... of course the track hawk is way nicer, but it’s a $90k car, opposed to mine, I paid $32k (USD). You can clearly see the difference.

Sorry to nitpick, but the “cheap American window switches” on the door you were making fun of are actually from the Mercedes parts bin. Identical to the ML of last generation. This Jeep was designed on the same platform as the Mercedes before Fiat bough Chrysler.
