We just got a fully loaded 2017 ES 300h (hybrid!) with the Luxury Package and almost every option. Omg, I am *loving* this car. It's unbelievably comfortable, quiet, smooth, fast (enough,) and stylish and we're getting nearly 40 mpg overall (37-39.) Some trips are better than others, I have gotten 50 mpg on some trips, but it evens out. Driving in really hilly areas tends to hurt the mileage, although it's never "bad" for a car this big and this luxurious. I'm thrilled with it. I never _really_ "got" Lexus' until I sat inside it and drove it. I was going to get a Prius but I'm glad I stepped up to this car.

just picked up a 2015 ES300h, absolutely love it. Had a 2015 Accord hybrid few years ago, had to get rid of it, missed the heck out of it since fuel cost has been rising. I really like the navigation/info screen pushed back in the dash, shielded from annoying sunlight, it is the exact same design/software as the Accord. Sadly, this generation of Lexus may b the only one I ever own. I hate the new interior designs of today's models, especially the slapped-on info screens that resemble a laptop taped on the dash, yuk.

Heated rear seats and rear seat controls are present in international market ES versus ours. Even power folding mirrors are standard. Not a fan of Lexus America cheapening out on consumers.

Luxury Package 2016 ES 350 1 owner car and only 6000 mileage for $29,000 out of the door price including tax and fees is good deal or not ? Please let me know.

How long will it take them to realize they need to get a touch screen instead of that stupid mouse? It's very distracting on the roadways, my grandfather just couldn't get the hang of it during our test drive of the es. His old LS he replaced (went with the cadenza) had a touchscreen.
@c3piano4 жыл бұрын
We have this car and the mouse is just fine, it's much better for the driver to use voice control to work the navigation system. Even if it was a touch screen you would have to take your eyes off the road causing a hazard. The passenger can use the mouse easily. For my family the mouse is a winner., no fingerprints on the screen. People should stop whining about the mouse . It's just echoing someone else's childish opinion.

Very thorough review. One tip for you is that you should pan your camera SLOWLY. Just slow down a bit and take in all the frame . You just move it around too much and make the vid a bit nauseated. Otherwise good review !

Now in your opinion is it worth it to pay extra for that Rear moonroof?
@CarConfections7 жыл бұрын
Well it is included only in the $3,500 Ultra Luxury package, so I'd say 'Yes' if you liked the other features included in that package, but 'No' if you could care less about those extra features besides the rear moonroof. I think that package gives you a rear sunshade, heated and ventilated front seats, real perforated leather, Smart entry, etc.
@weonlyliveonce28307 жыл бұрын
shouldn't the smart entry be standard on a luxury car like Lexus lol? I do love that rear moonroof for my passengers or whoever

Hey CarConfections, will Lexus ever put Apple CarPlay and Android in their vehicles?
@CarConfections8 жыл бұрын
Toyota/Lexus does not currently have any plans to roll out Apple CarPlay or Android Auto in the future.
@matthewyim17368 жыл бұрын
CarConfections Wow, this seems weird to me, because In General Motors vehicles, they offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and I'm surprised Lexus and Toyota is not even offering Apple CarPlay nor Android Auto in their vehicles.
@andybub456 жыл бұрын
Matthew's Car Corner also, they would probably have to add a touchscreen, which would be nice, like the old ones.

Does that 2017 really have 9k miles on it? Are you sure that's not a 2016?
@CarConfections8 жыл бұрын
It is a 2017. We were also confused by this. You can see the sticker at 26:19. We also had to remove all the interior plastic coverings because they just took shipment of the vehicle the day before. Our only guess is that it could have something to do with the fact that they hadn't taken the vehicle in for its initial service/inspection yet.
@HowToCarGuy8 жыл бұрын
That is how many miles until it needs to be serviced. Change the oil every 10k. That is essentially a "miles until oil change" indicator. Hope this helps. Brock
@teezee10008 жыл бұрын
That must be something new they added. it wasn't available in the 2015 I had.
@HowToCarGuy8 жыл бұрын
You are correct. Lexus added that in 2016. You can tell be the little wrench icon to the left of the mileage.
