S-awc would be the most significant difference, the cx-5 doesn't have anything like that. Technology in mazda is well known to be poor, mitsu claims much improved tech on this eclipse cross. worth to evaluate these points. And is not the eclipse cross on the cx-3 segment ?

I have an Eclipse Cross amd I would compare it with the CX-3. I agree that Mitsubishi S-AWC is the main difference here. I already drove mine in the sand and it performed amazing. Also, I can take corners like a rally driver now...jajaja
