The gauges are: Oil TEMP (not pressure as you mentioned), voltage (pointless), and a clock.

Note: The first gauge is not oil PRESSURE, it's engine oil TEMPERATURE. That second gauge is called a voltmeter.

Wow! Is this some type of communications class project this kid had to do? It’s like listening to someone recap a baseball game that has never watched one. I was expecting to hear “boom goes the dynamite!” I’ve never seen someone so uncomfortable and awkward around a car they are supposed to be reviewing. Does he even have a driver’s license? Dual filters = one for each bank of the motor, otherwise they would have to have ran more piping on one side.

it not for each bank. they both go into the same plenum. why two intakes then? there is no room to fit a large 90mm throttle body with a huge filter. so they put two smaller filters with two smaller throttle bodies to have the same flow.

Your review was very good. Do you think that Nissan might later produce a GT 2+2 with raise roof for more cargo. It will be a good size model for active people (cyclist, campers,etc.) or my everyday car. I missed my 1977 -350Z. I had to buy a bigger car for a growing family. tnx EdA

No they won't. That is what the Juke is for. Also the rumor mill is thinking the new remake of the Z is going to be a X-over like the Juke. That's just a rumor.Also to point out in this video they do not make a Touring Sport anymore. You either get a Touring or a Sport or a Nismo. Maybe options are different for the convertibles? Also they start of at $29K not high 30's. Do what I did and find a left over previous year on a showroom. I got a brand new Touring Sport with a $8+k discount with the touring/Nav & sport package(Ray's Rims big brakes etc.) for $34k. Pretty hard car to beat in that price range as far as sports cars go. I wanted that model,I prefer the body style more than the Nismo. You couldn't get the touring package in the Nismo until now. They did away with the Touring Sport so you had to purchase the Nismo. The only difference was the Nismo Tune & Exhaust & you had to have the Recaro's & the body kit with the ugly spoiler.

The stock bridgestones on all models with exception of the Nismo are insufficient as Bridgestone cuts nissan a deal based on volume. Stock replacements of the same tire actually are not identical and last longer. Best money spent on this car is upgrading to Michelin Pilot Super Sports (I got rid of the garbage stock bridgestones after a few months).

The real problem is Nissan has been dragging their feet with the power plant of this car, The value drops on these new models fast because when people actually take the time to research the 370z they realize you are always better off buying a used one. The ONLY changes to this car since 2009 are bumpers and a few minor cosmetic details.....This is the exact reason i bought my 370z used, Under 30k miles and i got it for 17k. And Nismo Vs Base model Vs sports is nearly identical, The track times on the cars are nearly the same and you pay about 10,000$ more for the Nismo from a Base model, there is no justifying the cost difference for only 8-10Whp ' 18hp ' more i don't care what cosmetics come with it, Nissan is just really good at marketing this car. They clearly don't want it's Hp to get anywhere near the GTR from factory. TLDR: Buy a used 09-13 370z if you're looking to buy one, Buy an oil cooler and a CBE and you'll already be at the same power as a Nismo if not faster.

true, the Z is overpriced new and used models are going cheap. best bet is to get a Z with the sport package that way you get the better brakes, wheels and Smode.

alfred rodriguez I auto blip fine in my 370z, I see no need for Synchro rev maching. You can get really good aftermarket breaks for less than the Sport package the only thing i'd say get the sort pack for is the rims....But i like 18's so to each their own. Get a base model and spend 2k for breaks and the rays rims and call it a day unless you find a STEAL on a sports package.

Completely agree on buying used. I did the same. Bought a 2012 with sports package and 19k miles for $22k....was also in great shape. Also - sport package is more than wheels and synchro. The sport brakes are significantly better than stock + the sport package comes with a limited slip differential. W/o limited slip this becomes Much less of a sports car, especially if you want to do a track day. This is a package worth paying the extra $1k for in the used market. The brakes alone would cost you $2k to replace at equal spec when accounting for rotors and pads...eg a brembo or stop tech big brake kit

There is nothing in it's class. Subaru/Toyota, Miata and Fiat are all way under powered and The mustang is heavier and is a pony car not a sports car. Boxster and Z4 are about $15,000 more when similarly equipped.

Agree - this is not heavy and there really isn't another car to compare this to. Closest things are much more....a cayman s or a bmw z4 or audi tts....but the price differences make them unfair too. That said, they're 300hp coupes that all weigh the same or more...the Z is properly weighted. American muscle of similar price have less power and are hundreds of pounds heavier.
