Ehhhh I think 30MPG is a bit disappointing, an advanced transmission with a NA 3.5L engine backed by hybrid tech should manage better,, hell Infiniti has a Hybrid Q50 with nearly identical power-train that came out in 2014 and it matches the LC500 in nearly every metric. The LC500 is gorgeous and has an amazing interior so you can really tell where the money went, but can I really say it's all that impressive when it only slightly outperforms a hybrid from 4 years ago and one that costs half as much?

It’s not so much the cost - as you stated, people who can afford an expensive car like this, certainly shouldn’t have an issue with fuelling costs. However one BIG consideration is range. These type of vehicles are supposed to be long distance cruisers. Having to fuel up every 200-300 miles (like many big engined GT cars) gets to be a pain after a while.

This is the best luxury coupe one can buy when it comes to the overall package. Down the line there will be an LC F for those who want crazy faster and handling performance. Rumours of a twin turbo v8 in the works. In terms of luxury, attention to details, craftsmanship exterior and interior design and a balance of comfort and handling there's no luxury coupe in the 100-140k range better. The LC starts at 92k, the s class coupe starts at 110k or thereabouts and only gets far more expensive with options and Amg variants cause of different engines and performance driven numbers. But when it comes to design, luxury, craftsmanship and a balance of comfort and handling the LC 500 which is my preferred version not the hybrid is the better overall car compared to the s class coupe. I have seen the BMW 8 series side to side compared with the LC and the latter trumps completely. The LC is just the best overall package in this class if u r in search of a GT car not a sports car.

As much as I like Genesis until the development of their entire lineup is finished , I would go with Lexus. Genesis still needs more time to establish themselves in the luxury market. The g90 , g80 , and g70 are all good cars however they don't have as much recognition as the competition. I see why they started with sedans (you can't start a luxury brand without having some type of s class or 3 series fighter) but since SUV'S are so popular in the states nowadays they aren't going to gain as much recognition until they bring there SUV'S or a coupe to the plate which are still in the process.

Foolish car. $100,000 with not back seat, no trunk, crappy seats. Why?
@davepaturno42902 жыл бұрын
Doesn't that describe most exotic cars? Are they practical?
@jml95502 жыл бұрын
@@davepaturno4290 exactly, so is a Porsche or the Aston. Nobody buy these cars for practicality.

One of the most overwrought car interiors I've ever seen, and constricting as well. My claustrophobia kicks in. For a luxury brand, I think this is one of the tackiest interiors I've ever seen. Awful. Shame, because the exterior looks somewhat interesting, especially the A pillar up front and the B (or is that C?) pillar at the back.

What? Tacky? You think real leather and Alcantara and metal are tacky? I guess you'd prefer piano black?

ARentz07 no problem with the materials but with the design.

@@BernardoSilva70 Eh, I wonder what you would consider better in this price range. I've owned Porsches, Audi's, Mercs and so forth. Although all have quality interiors, only the Lexus interiors makes me feel like I am stepping into something that was created with any soul. To each their own.

@@AS-er4ud to each his own indeed! I stand by my comment. What sticks out more than anything else is the seats. At this price point I expect comfort (and I'm sure you'll get with these) but the design, with the middle part of the seat extending out towards the person's shoulders then wrapping around the back of the seat. If you enjoy it, more power to you, it's not a knock on your taste, as I'm sure there are plenty other people who love it. But if I had the money I would definitely be spending it elsewhere.

@@BernardoSilva70 Fair enough. Out of curiosity, what would you be spending your money on?
