@@TheUmbreonGuy i own the 2.5 FWD 2015 model and it runs fine until now,no serious transmission issues like peoples said about Nissan cars.They just too careless about their car,like forgot to change the CVT oil or even late on maintenance

I was buying a 2020 xtrail tekna at the start of this year and the Nissan dealer advised me that if I loved my children, then never put them seated in the 3rd row seats because on rear impact he shuddered to think of the outcome. So I bought a Volvo XC90 instead. This is not a 7 seater it is merely a 5+2 seater.

I heard the same from a buddy who restores cars. Said Nissan have a hard time taking it from the rear ;) either that or wait till tye CVT transmission fails

Believe me I’ll take your word for it, my dad owns this car and it is practically impossible for any ‘adult’ to sit in the rear after just about fitting in the back I can say that Nissan should not have designed this cat to be a 7 seater. Never sitting in the back again.

The airbags possibly may have been turned off. I think most cars have this option where you can like turn the airbag off. I hope your mum's recovering btw and gets well soon
