R e n R e n Last year I had a bullet journal but towards the middle of the year I lost motivation. I recommend sticking with minimal themes you enjoy but also are easy to make. I often found that I didn’t have the time to make a new spread so you also have to remember to plan ahead and make spreads around the 20th of each month instead of towards the last few days. It is helpful to start slowly and not use many trackers or extra spreads and just stick to what’s necessary and add on from there in future months. Lastly, it’s important to remember that it doesn’t have to be perfect which can be really hard sometimes. I often got caught up in lettering or drawing instead of focusing on the important parts of my bullet journal. Good luck to anyone else who is interested in starting a bullet journal in the new year!

make it something fun, not something you dread to do. For instance, at first I didn't like bullet journaling because I always wanted to copy a spread off pinterest. But now I find it fun to create spreads and decorating them.

That's really cool! I started bullet journalling last year and really enjoyed it. I would recommend for you not to spend too much time on your spreads, because I ended up spending hours on it when I really could have saved lots of time by going minimalistic. Also, don't feel discouraged if you can't draw/do caligraphy well, cause a bujo is meant for it to be a place to write down things to do and notes and things like that, and it doesn't have to look pretty if it works for you.

I started bullet journaling at the start of the year and one thing I learnt is to make the spreads that work for you. If you do watch plan with mes on KZbin, you can follow the spreads exactly but if you feel that whatever you are following is not suiting your lifestyle/way you plan, customize it so it fits your life and style.

jasmine i’ve been watching your videos for quite some time now and i just wanted to thank you really... even tho i still procrastinate while watching your videos telling me not to procrastinate and start being productive, your channel has filled me up in some really interesting tips and advices on how to get better at school. i’m doing pretty great but i still pressure myself to get better (the self pressure part is not that healthy but i’m still working on it), so thank you for sharing all of the info you’ve discovered through the years. the school system in my country is waaaay different so not all tips are “usable”, but they still help a lot, specially this year (2018) because it was my first year in high school and damn if i felt emotionally drained in freshman year then the other ones are going to be Tough™️. i’ll try to stay okay! on a side but interesting note: you kinda taught me everything i know about calligraphy ???? i just got the basics from you and some random videos from other youtubers and i’ve been training for over two years now, i’m quite proud of myself! hope u did great on your winter finals!!! also hope you have a great end of the year.

Hi Jasmine! In earlier videos, you mentioned that you are gonna use the Karst Stone notebook as your new bullet journal. However, I’ve heard that this notebook has paper which isn’t the best for markers ect (takes a lot of time for the ink to dry) hope this will help you! ❤️
