Are the 2018s rated at 450hp in Australia and 460hp in the US? Do they lose 10hp on the boat ride? Also why all the bleating about the crash rating? You buy these because of the sound they make and they way they fly down the road.

It loses 10hp as the RHD version alters the powertrain.

I’m looking to buy a 18 GT used with 22000kms on the clock from a ford dealership in Aussi,honestly this is my 1st try for a mustang, can anyone tell me is there any problems dealt with 2018 model? The one I’m gonna buy comes with 3 years remaining factory warranty

The interior (and exterior) look quite nice. I'm not even a Ford or Mustang guy. What kind of real car guy gets his panties in a twist that a pony car isn't all ultra-lux finishes inside? You can't get an Audi with an engine like this for anywhere near the price. I would also like to point out that the NA V8 Mustang makes more horsepower than Twin Turbo V8 the Porsche Panamera GTS.

I can tell you, I drive a 2018 Mustang GT premium edition. Never had any problems with it. Regularly maintained less than 44000 klicks. Starts, drives and runs impeccably. No disappointments, no issues. SO WTF IS YOUR PROBLEM?

Shame the handbrake is on the wrong side. Ford was obviously to lazy to do a mirror image console. Otherwise the best mustang ever. What a glaring oversight. Just had a look at one at the ford dealer, not a muscle car anymore more a real sports car. With a bit of refinement needed in certain area's obviously..........LOL

It’s very hard to accurately judge the front endto park . It’s a great car and always fun - puts a smile on your face and , too fast at times . My Gt dyno 311rwkw (98 octane), which suggests Ford have under stated the 339 kw @ flywheel - 360 kw plus is more accurate.

It's 3 star overall, but if you look at the whole test it scores high points for front passenger collision, front and side impact. The rear passengers not so much scoring low 1-2 which brings the overall average down. So if you don't plan on taking kids in the back it's a 5 star car

2017 was the last of the retro instrument cluster /digital combination. The front end /bonnet looks meatier on the 2017 as well. 2018+ nice wheels and active exhaust. Ironically the 2016/17 with low ks are sometimes dearer second hand than the 2018+ for the before mentioned features.

Should've updated with an affordable 2.0 L4 Ecoboost turbo, a 2.7 V6 Ecoboost twin-turbo (in place of the 3.7 V6 NA) and an optional crate 6.8 V8 Godzilla. By the way Mustang needs to come with a four door coupe in lieu of the Falcon notchback sedan.

Yeah, cool - saloons... These cars are also 3 times the price of the Mustang so would want to be faster. With some bolt-on mods and a tune the Mustang will be faster than these "saloons" (who actually uses that term???) you mention at a fraction of the price.

Youre dumb, even a small hatchback can be faster than e63s. At the end of the day its about money. If ford wants to make mustang as fast as e63s they can do it but it wont be at current prices.
