2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Electronic brakes Retract Procedure

This videos shows how to retract rear brakes electronics piston on automobiles with rotors. The video shows how to do it on a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander SE -- This vehicle has rotors in the front and back.
The front brake pistons can be retracted manually by pushing them back, the rear has to be retracted using a DC (Direct Current) power source in addition to pushing the piston back manually.

I set it to 6V so it doesn't move the piston too fast.

Fyi- I was told by a mechanic at the dealership that this can be done with a 9v battery and test probes.... I'm about to try it. I'll update you if it works 🤞

@feeshunter1508 , Yes! I attached leads to a 9 volt battery and it worked great! You have to go slow to make sure it's going the right direction. If not, just reverse the leads.
