mikeythebold tv : 2018 Subaru outback received top safety pick + at IIHS rating, where 2018 Tiguan received only top safety pick with 1 marginal rating. Subaru Outback has been receiving top safety pick and pick plus for the last the 10 years...and Tiguan just has entered into top safety pick category with the new model. Note that earlier version (till 2017) of Tiguan didn't have any good safety rating from IIHS authority.

@@AkHafiz may be true but understand that the + given to the Subaru has nothing to do with "better" crash results but was due to the Subaru receiving a better headlight score. Just something to keep in mind.
