I've got myself a 2016 B.O.S.S. and I love it. So many compliments and so much fun. I wish mine had the same labeling as that one, since it just has "Boulevard" as a sticker on the tank. I also wish Suzuki kept the black throughout the whole thing, instead of chrome blinker stalks.Still, though, I absolutely love it.

I have this exact one 2018 brand new with some nice upgrades , previous bike mint 2000 Suzuki TLR 1000 for 18 years died at 60, 000 miles with the help of a certain dealer. I don't regret one thing about this bike been doing my homework on it since having it pass me and about 7 other street bikers while we were doing about 120mph back in 2010. The bike was affordable especially at the end of the year and that allowed me to get quite a few upgrades, Cobra Exhaust , RC Custom chrome rims etc. and I am still under $17,000. This is a muscle cruiser and delivers in style, looks and performance, Tires changed to Michelin Scorchers and that's all she wrote, you must be use to a powerful bike or don't mess with this, its deceiving in that category and your guaranteed a great ride .....

Excellent review. Great video. The only thing I disagree with you is the exhaust note isn’t very good no matter what system you put on ..has same sort of problem as the VTX1800 weird exhaust note and never get confused with a Harley. I still think it’s the best muscle cruiser dollar for dollar. I owned one for two years 2014-16. I eventually traded it in for a 2016 Vrod. But I still think it was a better value than a Vrod and certainly more reliable. Again great video👍

went from an M109 to a Vrod? I rode a friends Vrod.. a newer Vrod at the time with low miles.. it sucks compared to an M109. But hope you enjoyed it. I've ridden about 20ish Harley's over the past few years because there is a dealer close by and i go and ride a new one or clean newer used ones, because its fun to go ride other bikes for the hell of it, and i haven't found a HD that is as good as the M109 yet. Amazing how much they wallow in corners and even head shake a bit brandnew... and over $20k.. No Way!

@@craigwallis2794 wow talk about head shake take an m109r on the highway and start gunning the motor. Its some of the most frightening defects Ive ever felt on any motorcycle. Even look at other channels talk about this problem with the M109r. The Vrod doesn’t do it. And it smashes it in the corners as well as the 1/4 mile. I owned my M109r 2years tired of getting beat up by my buddies Vrod muscle no upgrades made it faster than the vrod short of a turbo or nitrous. The M109r is a better all around bike if you don’t mind getting beat by Vrods or the death shake on highway accelleration. It’s better looking and more reliable no doubt. But I switched I never regretted it. In the end I traded it for a 2020 Vmax which isnt really a cruiser but it’s definately fast

Honda fury? Vulcan? What are you talking about?? The M109R is a Power Cruiser, like the Honda VTX 1800, Kawasaki Mean Streak, Yamaha RoadStar Warrior, Yamaha Raider, you missed a lot of points here man..the M109R is a great looking Power Cruiser, but not the best looking Japanese Cruiser lol..maybe to you it might be, it definitely is one of the best out there.

I did a test ride in 2006 when this bike was new to the market. The motorcycle has a very low center of gravity and is therefore also easy to drive. I admit that at the time I was considering trading my Yamaha Vmax 1200 at the dealership for the Suzuki. However, I had kept my Vmax. Maybe I'll buy an M109R after all. Suzuki builds reliable motorcycles.

Be careful if you try it and are a bit inexperienced. The 109 will spin the rear tire even in 4th gear if you change up and pin the throttle.

I had one of these after only ever owning 1000cc type sport bikes, they in comparison of course have the maneuvering capabilities of a B52 but its not about that is it lol. I had the same drama keep pulling off from lights with my feet looking for rear set pegs which makes you feel stupid but you get used to it. I hate the back end but they look far better with shorter dog bones in and I replaced the 240 back tyre for a 260 (as if standard isnt fat enough) it slowed cornering but looked awesome. I've never understood why Suzuki never updated this bike other than move the digital tacho and colours?? A more shapely rear end and a more classic looking tail light would finish it off plus the colour schemes always look so full. I always thought one would look cool painted out in some kinda NASCAR inspired colours, it's a bike that shouts look at me with it's awesome presence...

Its problem is it Comes with no wind shield. People are impressed by it but driving it over 50 miles per hour is very difficult. Harley Davidson cruiser is much better because of thé south ride and thé wind shield so that you Can drive over 70 miles per hour and rides very south and wind does not push u on your helmet and chest that makes riding really boring and tiring so that you don't cruise hundreds of miles on it. Thé best cruise bikes are indian cruiser and Harley Davidson cruiser and my preferred easiest bike to ride is thé notary Honda Goldwing. BMW 1800R18 is also very good

good afternoon friend thank you very much for sharing this video. I would be very grateful if you comment on the decision to buy a motorcycle like the one you showed. 1.- I am 61 years old, I am 1.80 meters tall and I weigh 85, I am thin, retired and healthy, blessed God 2.- But I don't have any experience in riding a motorcycle and I don't know if it's right to buy one like this or a Harley because of its weight and power 3.- What opinion do you give me, will I be wrong to acquire something like this or is it worth the experience because I can learn with all possible measures, for your attention, thank you for reading me, congratulations on your purchase

This motorcycle is easy to ride due to the low center of gravity. Do a seat test on different models at the dealer. If it feels good, then take it for a test drive. The M109R is timelessly designed, technically mature, a legend and has a very good price-performance ratio.

I know this is an old post but to anyone else I would not recommend a 109 to a new rider. This bike will go over if you get it to that tipping point when creeping or rolling it backward. Once it’s got you going the wrong way there’s no stopping over 700 lbs. if you’re a newby get some hours in on a smaller bike maybe a motorcycle course. The power of this bike definitely requires experience. I’ve owned two of them, it will slap your lower back because the seat is pretty lame for absorbing shock. When I got mine a lot of guys were drilling out the baffles giving it a bit deeper tone. A poor man’s custom exhaust😂. He mentioned engine braking…if you get 700 some odd pounds moving you better allow room to stop. The momentum is quite scary the first time but like everything you get used to how it should be handled.
