B.O.S.S. stands for ’Blacked Out Special Suzuki’. The BOSS name came when they dropped the chrome. I am 6'3" and feel cramped on every Harley. They are smaller bikes. For that reason I have a 17 109 and a Victory Magnum as a bagger. Both bike let taller people stretch out more. People are always interested in what the 109 is. Turns heads even at the Harley dealer when I attend demo days. I love the uniqueness of the 109 vs Harleys. Also it looks fast even when parked so the Harley guys know unless they have got $10,000+ in their motor they aren't as fast.

Moore Mafia have just dropped a vid where they fit an aftermarket exhaust and flash the ECU, it looks like they had big power gains particularly mid range and top end

I love my 2007 VZR1800r Intruder, weight and any of it doesn't matter, it has such comfortable sitting position, but the 5 speeds gearbox is a real nuisance which grows on you slowly... Still, I loved it initially, then in 3-4 months hated it and now 2 years down the road I love it again. Sooo much bike for just 5-7k.... Just don't be intimidated by its weight/size and respect it, despite having so much torque and being able to run fast, it's a cruiser, so cruise on it...

Great video, but I've got to say..I don't think the Honda Fury is the correct competition from Honda to the M109R...I assert that the class is basically the Yamaha Raider, Honda VTX 1800F, and the M109R. While they are all exceptional bikes, IMO the M109R is the most brutal (in the best possible way, seeing as we're talking about muscle cruisers) of the bunch. Love mine!

I have the same one had for a little over a year and love it, I also came from a sport bike. It is usually a conversation piece with a filter power commander and an exhaust really wakes it a bit more 😁😁👍

Lets all be honest, we don't buy japanese cruisers and touring bikes, because thier cheaper. We buy them, because thier a lot more reliable lol my wife also has a 2015 street glide and we have had it in the shop 3x in a year for different issues.

IslandSoundz Hmmm to be honest I think so. Too me it’s like going from a 250 to a 1000 in the sport bike class. Plus it’s over 700lbs. I’d go see if you can sit on one. I haven’t rode a lot of cruisers yet but I think the Harley Sportster Rodster was not so powerful.

Power wise no, you can control that by not twisting the throttle. The weight and sheer size of it, particularly in low speed maneuvers will be where you'll get into a world of hurt

My wife had a 2016 Fury. I loved that motorcycle, but in rain or over 55 mph that sob was sketchy as fuck to ride lol. The back tire seemed to want to slide from behind you.

The M109R can be pretty sketchy in the wet too, anything with a big back tyre is prone to being treacherous, or so I've been told
