Nice! I'm a VR6 fan not crazy about turbocharged vw but I did own a supercharged MK4 R32 ( lost her to SUPER STORM SANDY) would like to get another R32 but for the ridiculous money they are asking the Passat GT VR6 is more bang for your buck.

I wish VW’s newer 7 speed DSGs as crisply as their older 6 speed DSGs. I had the option of getting a new mk7 GLI or a used Passat GT. Wish I went for the Passat GT.

I daily drive my Passat GT and enjoy it very much. One answer to a question I've never read is how many were actually produced. Anyone know?

Purchased my GT July 2018 with 38 miles. 6 years later, 66k miles, excellent condition, paid off and the car is absolutely beautiful. The looks and attention it receives from other owners with expensive high end sports sedan vehicles, is unbelievable. The GT just simply looks better than most of those vehicles. Now, to your question, 6 years ago when l purchased mine, l heard only 4400 of these was being made. I have only seen it 9/10 other times in 6 years. I love it that way.
