Really happy that they redid the commentary here, feeling the 2003-2016 pre-recorded production vibes! Lon and Norman do their best work when they don't have to react to 6+ hours of poker hands at a time.

Not a slow roll by Cynn. They had played nearly 200 hands, and he had $8,000,000 on the line. Miles could’ve had AK, KQ, 55 or 88. I don’t blame Cynn for taking his time with such a huge decision.
@DD-vc7fq
@DD-vc7fq 4 жыл бұрын
Depends on the context. Since a huge money is on the line, I get it. But nobody is ever going to fold that, not in a million years. In the context of heads-up poker, this is indeed a slowroll.

I agree I don't think it was a slow roll, had to just think about it for a minute. Basically several million dollar decision. What I don't agree though is the possibility that Miles could've had 55 or 88. 55 very likely just calls pf and the c-bet, 88 most often checks the turn to trap. Bets sometimes to setup a seemingly mediocre river jam, but never shoves oop...

Shoving Q8 on that turn is NOT solver approved. Part of me thinks Tony started to think he was ahead from how long the call took, which is why he was so frustrated to see a K. Probably a nitroll, but given the situation, so what. Definitely not a slowroll. I played with Tony once in Florida, I opened into his bb early on and he took 30s to stare at me before folding.

Not a slow roll, he was loosing to AK, KQ, pocket 5's or pocket 8's, and any of those when heads up would raise pre, so he took a couple of minutes to go through the whole hand and piece it together. Not to mention they had just played for 7 days, plus over 200 hands heads up. Personally i think he played the hand correct, he took his time to think of his options. The only way you could say it was a slow roll was if he had pocket kings. An remember the difference in the pays was 3 million(ish) which is a life changing amount by itself

And this kids is why you should always 3 bet with kings. If Labat had 3 bet with his kings rather than flat calling then the hand would have played out the same with Zhu jamming all in and Manion also jamming over the top but instead this time Labat could have folded since by that point it would have been a 5 bet jam on the final table bubble which gives you enough information to be able to fold. Labat felt he had to call simply because he under represented his hand which like I said, if he had simply 3 bet with the kings in the first place he wouldn’t have that problem.

Is this comment a troll? 200 hands and 6/7 he's later, 2ND time he's taken outrageous line resulting in a bluff jam - 4m difference in money - booked allowed to think ffs. Nit roll at worst.

KKJ there is definitely NOT a slow roll and NOT a slam dunk call by any stretch of imagination considering the implication.

Cada reminds me of those desperate online players who have nothing but keep betting all in, he said scraping BBQ sauce off plates was his greatest challenge

On the 3rd hand Cynn snaps a c/r shove turn with just an overpair when he's beat soo often... But then tanks for the easiest call EVER to win the WSOP ME ? Was he coached by Hellmuth for the HU ?

IT IS A SLOW ROLL - you can say whatever you want about AK, 55 etc...the simple fact is Cynn is never folding there with KJ and neither is anyone else. If you know you will never fold, and your hand is super strong heads up, taking that long to call is ridiculous. At worst 20 seconds

Especially heads up. No way it should take you that long to call with trip kings.

K5 K8 KQ AK 55 88 beats him. Granted heads up its an easy call but he only had the 6th nuts and it was like 5am and they were 200 hands deep which was the longest HU match in main event history. Thats why.

Wow, sore loser move calling it a slow roll. You're betting like you have a monster for your tournament life in the final two of the main event. It's not like he was holding the absolute nuts with KK or K8. Just mad he blew it on a turn shove/bluff with 2 pair.
