Tang Xijing went from not qualifying at 21st place, to getting in podium in 2nd place. Just like how Kseniia Afansyeva went from being a reserve to a gold medalist at 2011 FX EF. If that ain't dedication idk what is 😭😭 So proud!

She and Li Shijia actually ranked the 1st and 2nd in the recent two AA training quizzes of the Chinese national team before coming to Stuttgart. Thus it's a wise decision for the coach to replace Liu Tingting with Tang Xijing :)

Simone’s humility, sense of humor, and smile makes her so likable even when she sweeps the floor with other competitors. She is not full of herself, and you can see is concerned more with refining and updating her routines rather than relying on pasts glories. A truly wonderful gymnast and role model for young girls and women in the sport.

What a surprising turn of events, suni who qualified 2nd fell and finished 8th, melanie dejuses who qualified 3rd fell twice and finished 20th , ellie black injured herself doing a RUDI, elisa iorio didnt finish the event , angelina finally got an individual medal after like 4 years of inconsistencies, injuries , and china got an all around medal for the first time like a decade since yao jinnan i think ..and simone has broken her record and breaking medal records for most decorated gymnast

Totally knew that Simone would win, no surprise, congrats to her! 5 time world champion, absolutely incredible! So happy for Tang, it's great to see China on the podium in the AA! Komova stopped competing in big competitions after her back injury and Mustafina still continued on this 2019 Stuttgart World Cup. I think Mustafina is a mother now so maybe it has an impact on her body like her hormones and skeletal system...I don't know. Changes in the body can also change the way you move in gymnastics so I don't know if that is the reason why she's not that good as before but I know she was still winning a lot of medals in 2019. We don't have competitions right now in 2020 because of quarantine.
