Funny, no one talks about how a rear mirror cam, lowering springs, real non flat tires and wheel spacers addresses all the issues and makes this a far better deal on the used market now than even older Golf R's.

The 2013-2015 X1 was available in a 35i M Sport package with rear wheel bias AWD

Yes, a curious car indeed. It would have made more sense to contrast it from X1 by going the hothatch route a la F20/F21. Then again, we're in North America, so maybe not.

I was a little tough on the last review but I think this one was great! The points were practical and I think would be helpful for somebody interested in this market. No for the car, lose that silly badging on the rear pillar.

It’s a jacked up hot hatch that some people will think is a SUV and love it. I want my hot hatch closer to the ground please.

I hate orange...inside or outside. I love red inside or outside. That interior looks orange and hideous. I do love the older m-steering wheel though - better looking than the newer ones.

Nope No female Asian will buy a "m sport" car. That being said, any of these little SAVs from BMW are aimed at millennials. No particular gender or race in mind.

@@ChristianC-gy1ym You maybe right about the "M" but theres several Asian families on my street I'm friends with. All the ladies and daughters are driving German or japanese luxury suvs. All of them. And the father's are buying or leasing these cars for their daughters. These brands crash test well for the most part and that's what a dad wants.

@@IKnewMickey I see I see. I just see a lot of bmw SAVs on the road and I can't detect any pattern as to whom the targeted demographic is. But I do see that they're mainly younger people. Myself included lol (2018 X3 M40i)

M35i is a 4 cylinder car? Hmm. This is a less practical, lifted, much more expensive Golf R. There is no point to this other than a cash grab for those who don't cross shop that Golf R. And that price! LOL!
