@@majabubloem Definitely this. The X7 is more of a rival for the Range Rover than the Disco. Although we don't get the 30d in the US, so we can't comment on how that engine is.

I am from the Middle East..I recently bought X7! Surprisingly, the speakers in the car are Harman kardon and the Lego is only on the small front side speakers !!! Is this normal!?

Great review! How would you compare the ride quality of the X7 v’s X5 over potholed rough road conditions?

The X7 feels smoother and more controlled over rough pavement. That being said, there is still a tad more road noise than we'd like over really rough roads. Optional 22-inch wheels probably don't help.

Hello dear, I have both of these cars! I could say with no doubt that X7 is far better in handling, road grip, and smoothness! Sir suspension in X7 makes a big difference

Your camera placement while driving is so awkward. Instead of mounting it on the dashboard or windshield or A-pillar, you should mount it on the passenger side B-pillar to let viewers know how high one is off the ground while driving an X7 and the front visibility.

Also, it gets super monotonous while watching the same face and same interior when you are reviewing while driving. You could put some shots relevant to what you are describing about the car. Change camera angles periodically to break the monotony.

Okay, seeing that you compared the X7 to a *_Range Rover,_* ( and I don't mean the smaller RR Sport), does the X7 drive and handle as well *Off-Road?* The 3rd row is a waste of time for a luxurious off-road vehicle on any trip longer than about 80 miles.

Not this one. It's a usable third row. X5 compares better to Range Rover Sport. Land Rover holds the advantage in off-road, but this can fare better than you'd expect.

The main issue with the second row captains chairs is that they do not fold flat. So, you give up all that cargo space if you want to maximize cargo space.
