Checking this out today the grille does not look as big as it actually is and the the looks better in gunmetal. The X7 looks so much better than the X5, it looks like it evolved from the previous X5.

Beemers are good for 4 or 5 years. After that you have to let go, otherwise you' might as well give your paycheck to the dealership service department. My brother in law always did a lease on them. he quickly realized it's not worth to own.

I was looking @ a used BMW several years ago (good price). I asked my mechanic what he thought about BMW. His reply - "They keep us in business." Asked several BMW owners what they thought - to a tee, everyone said they were money pits. If I just had to have one, lease is definitely what I would do.

Neighbor had an X6M and colleague had an X6M both had so many problems with them. My neighbor's X6M at one point was gone for probably 3 months getting fixed and I thought he had sold it and these were new vehicles 1-2 years old.

I wish that BMW and Benz really got into American territory by making a even bigger SUV. In this case an X9 for example to compete with the escalate ESV and Navigator L. I have 4 kids and always have the 3rd row up. I really need the extra large trunk space especially for road trips. I can't play what this little baby trunks. I guess I'll wait to see what caddy releases next month...

If i needed a luxury big 3 row suv I'd take the new Lincoln navigator. 450 hp 510 tq. Tune it and get a extra almost 100 hp and tq.

I think the navigator is better as an SUV. BMW's have a sporty ride, and I like luxury SUV's that float down the road with some presence, and the navigator's independent rear and adaptive suspension do just that. BMW certainly beats American manufacturers in the sedan department though, where a sporty ride is preferred. Also, I just saw an ad for the aviator before this, and I'm sorry to say, but after looking at that SUV, everything else looks a bit bland.

I don't understand how BMW offered the "Off Road" package which includes 2 extra driving modes or the M Sports package which gives you bigger brakes, better on-road handling, and an aero upgrade, but you can't have both. You either have to choose neither, going "Off-road" (more like gravel and puddles) or cornering and higher speed. Why can't I go over puddles and drive on a diet dirt road and then taking some sharp corners on my way home?

I picked up an x7 last Friday and love it. @TFL did that unit have floor mats? Mine did not, and the dealer said they didn’t make them for the X7 yet. Did not make sense to me, but I had already completed the deal the night before. They gave me a set of front floor mats made for an X5 bc they are supposedly the same. But they said that the ones for the rear would not fit.

Because, if you really own a BMW car, you will know about it quality. i have my first BMW is X6 2008. i use nice until now. just send it to the maintain on time. put gas and clean 1 time/2 week.
