If you want to quiet the noise, take the air box totally out, get some plasti dip or other rubberized spray and coat the whole inside of the box with 2-3 coats then re assemble. It cuts the intake resonance down a lot, it’s just due to the cam profile you hear that loudness and cf products don’t have an intake baffle like most manufactures. I’ve got the 800 and zforce 500, the 500 intake opening was between the seats, the spray trick really helped
@JonnyHawse5 жыл бұрын
Awesome. What kind of spray did you use? Would flex seal work? Just coat the entire inside of the air box?

Jonny Rebel yes flex seal is a type of rubber coating. Take the filter off obviously and with the box on a table shoot the whole inside of the box

Thanks for the review. I have a 2018 Polaris sportsman 570 and nothing but problems. I'm going to look into one of these as a second machine.
@JonnyHawse5 жыл бұрын
Polaris makes a good powerful machine, but a good powerful machine that has problems. My 850 Polaris I sold is said to have had front wheel bearings go out. Its always something. I now have nearly 500 miles on my CFMoto and zero problems
@josephdenver16125 жыл бұрын
Fortunately for me I bought the extended warranty on it but, it still has it's quirks. I also saw that CFMOTO has a 4 year warranty on their machines and I don't think you can beat that. I also read that the CF has a higher end clutch system and the extras you get out of the box are hard to beat too. I wish I'd have done my research a lil more before I bought the 570.
@JonnyHawse5 жыл бұрын
@@josephdenver1612 the 570 is a good machine, but as I said, a good machine that just has problems. I used to have a Polaris 850 and I loved the ride and the power was awesome, but the CFmoto is a better ride in my opinion. If you want to sling mud and raise hell, the polaris 850 is better. If you want a good comfy ride, sturdy machine w/ lots of extras and still enough power to have fun, the CFmoto 600 all day long. It's not even a question.

I sold a Polaris Sportsman 850 to buy this CFMOTO. The 850 had a ton of power, but it broke down left and right. Polaris is also known for its comfortable ride, but this CFMOTO is much more smooth across the bumps I couldn't believe it. Time will tell if this moto is reliable or not, but what you see in the video is all I can go by too being it's new and hasn't stood the miles and test of time yet. I've ran it up easily to 45mph and quickly. I first thought the speedometer was off because it doesn't feel like 45mph. That's how smooth it is. I went from a powerhouse 850 to this 600, and I'm here to tell you that if you want to spin tires and watch the dirt or gravel fly, this 600 will do the trick. I've done it. Hopefully a year from now I'm still happy as I am today. CFMOTO provides a 1 year warranty. Polaris, Can-am, and all the others only provide a 6 month warranty.

I'm curious as to how well the engines on these new models compare to the older CForce 500-B my friend has. When him and I go riding I ride the CFMoto and he is on his Polaris 570. The power delivery on the Polaris is night and day to the CF, it is much smoother with literally no vibration. But I will agree the CF has a much better engine brake. When comparing the two going through large, deep, mud puddles I say his Polaris floats like a boat and the CF sinks like a submarine and just plows through slowly. On some of the small rock climbs we've gone up he's had to put the Polaris into AWD to get up it where I can usually keep the CF in 2wd. But I think that's mostly down to the "general purpose" tires Polaris puts on their bikes stock. Either way they're both fun bikes, one is just more rough to handle than the other. :)

Nice Video Jonny. I just received the 600, have 3 hours on it so far. I have never drove or owned another ATV. I am concerned about the rpm of this one. Is it normal to rev pretty high? Doesn't sound like it changes gears or is this how the CVT transmissions are ? When in High gear it is @ 5,000 + RPM or more going only 20 mph. If this is normal I will feel much better. According to the manual there is a 20 hour break in period where I should not tow or go over 1/2 throttle as well. Your thoughts? Thx !
@JonnyHawse5 жыл бұрын
Yes, it does rev pretty high, but that's how the machine is built. Actually, you don't want to ease around all day at low rpm, you'll damage clutches that way. Be aggressive on the throttle. As far as the break-in period...I didn't go by it. I took it easy for maybe an hour, and then ran pretty hard. In my opinion being you have a one year warranty, if it's going to break down you want it to break down in the first year.
