2019 Chevrolet Camaro SS (2SS w/ 10 Speed): Start Up, Exhaust, Test Drive and Review

I today's video we check out the brand new 2019 Chevrolet Camaro 2 SS with the 10 speed automatic!
This is the newly re-designed Chevy Camaro and looks awesome!
Full walk around a review of the all new Camaro! This is the newest generation of the Chevy Camaro and is a nice daily drivable 2 door sportscar! The 2SS is an awesome rim level with all of the bells and whistles! Leather interior with heated and ventilated seats. Navigation, blind spot alert, forward collision warning, heads up display, sunroof and much more! Being a loaded 2SS this also has 20in wheels, Brembo brakes, a limited slip differential, active exhaust and adjustable steering. Magnetic ride suspension is available in other trim levels.
The 2019 Camaro looks great and has an aggressive front end design. It really is a car you need to see in person to appreciate. The rear end is very bold and has a modern look especially with the three dimensional tail lights. I also like how the 2019 tail lights are not red, the clear lens looks great! Seriously, the front bumper is so sick! The V8 modles have a different design than the V6 and turbo 4. All look so good in person.
The Riverside Blue Metallic exterior paint looked awesome and really shows off the brand new 2019 design! Overall I think the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro is a nice car with a lot to offer. It was comfortable, roomy, powerful and looks great! The interior of the 2019 Camaro was well laid out with minimal buttons with a clean look and feel.
Test driving the 2019 Camaro SS, the car drove great and has plenty of power. The 2019 V8 Camaro had an amazing exhaust sound to it and popped so much! Sounded great going through the gears. 10 speed automatic transmission was super responsive and a lot of fun to use. A 6 speed manual comes standard.
There are a ton of engine options, trim levels and packages to really pick out the 2019 Camaro that is right for you! This exact spec tho.... is the one to get if you want all of the amenities! I was truly impressed with this car!

This is the most beautiful Camaro, in riverside blue, I have ever owned. I’ve had a 1981 gold z28, 2010 maroon SS, 2016 white SS, 2017 silver ZL1, and this one. I spent $1100, I had the wheels powder coated black, every bit of shiny chrome on the outside blacked out with vinyl, including the hood and gas door. I even had the trim in front of steering wiheel blacked out because it is blinding in sunlight. Blacking out the Chevy emblem in the front end completely changed the look, it made it look incredible, It is beyond gorgeous. Mine is a 2ss, A10 with performance exhaust with magnetic ride. Performance is awesome. It is absolutely the perfect vehicle for me. There are some really decent discounts out there, grab one of these while you can. You won’t be sorry.

Actually really like this car. Even the re-design. Of note, I DID take one on a rolling start this weekend (he initiated...I had no choice but to comply haha). I have an E50 tuned 2018 F-150 with the 3.5 TT EB. I honestly had NO idea what to expect as nobody has really challenged me since I got the tune (looks like a normal/stock FX4 Platinum). BUT when he got on it, so did I. Ended up hitting about 80 before we both backed off. Not gonna say I spanked him (because I def did not) but I was gradually over-taking him...much to his visible surprise. We both gave each other a thumbs up and "high-five"...thoroughly enjoying the impromptu stop light race. Had he been in a 1LE, I would have def lost, though. Not even 600 hp/700 lb-ft can offset my truck's weight disadvantage in that race. :)

My first car was a 1968 Camaro, when I look at these new versions, I think the grill should be smaller and the rear end looks unfinished. The 1967 - 1969 were my favorite years for their simple , yet aggressive style. The new Camaro captures some of that, but gets too busy in the grill and rear areas. It looks like they just cut some length off the back and then patched it up.

The reason the front fascia is so controversial is because of the LED daytime running lights extending from each headlight towards the middle of the face ! Had it not been for that design scheme , the front would've been awesome !

The 2SS doesn't come standard with sunroof - it is still a ~$1K option. I guess it is because people who need a track machine should be able to skip the sunroof in favor of 1LE to make the beast lighter :)

You think this would be possible to put those xb facelift lights on a 5th gen? I wouldn’t see why not but it’s possible it wouldn’t fit. But if a 6th gen 18’ lights work on a 2014-2015 5th gen I wouldn’t see why the one they made for 2016-2018’ xb facelifts wouldn’t fit on a 5th gen

Manual definitely feels faster! Both have the same power figures, and the auto will wind a drag race. But i'd go with the manual all day long.

Bros FOURR Speed I think it has to do with the gearing, I wish Chevy offered a more agressive gearing kinda like the mustang with 3.55 gears. I heard the auto only has 2.71 with the camaro on the auto and 3.73 with the manual

Those downshifts are fast... once they actually shift. But there is a very discernible delay between click and shift. I'm not knocking it - the 10 speed is well known, and as widely praised as it is used through the GM lineup - I just like to row my own boat for the fun of it.

I agree. Years ago, everyone wanted chrome wheels, now it's black. If you noticed most manufacturers tend to put chrome/silver wheels on their base models now. I'm surprised to see them on the 2SS.

I bought the crappy-base V-6 Mustang. It was white and came with silver-painted wheels. I powder-coat the rims black at $105 a piece. Best money I ever spent. Black rims from Ford are $2,000 a piece.
