You can build a badass ford raptor for a pretty good price and order one at MSRP. Does the memory feature recall settings for not only the drivers seat but also the steering column and exterior mirrors? According to Ford's website it does, but I have yet to see anyone show it in action here on KZbin.

Good question. Honestly, I don’t mess with the memory settings that much due to short duration of the loans. I wish I still had this truck and I could film it. I’ll see if somebody I know has one.

Does Ford pipe in fake exhaust noise through the speakers? Because the exhaust note actually sounds better on the outside then the inside. It’s just louder on the inside. Louder doesn’t necessarily mean better. It’s kinda drowny.

The steering wheel without the color accent package (recaro seats) has perforated leather from 2 o'clock to 4 o'clock. What's up with this steering wheel? In the video it looked like it had the same leather there as on the rest of the steering wheel.

Yes it has the red stripe on it. I’ve never specifically asked about it, but my assumption is it helps identify the top of the wheel faster when driving quickly off road.

The problem with this--and any of these new offroad capable pickups--is the price. I can't stomach spending $40,000 on something to abuse off road. Not a single one of these starts under 50k. I never see Raptors, New power wagons, new Tundra/Tacoma/4runner TRD pro's climbing around in the mountains. I do see them crawling around parking lots and paved roads all the time. Obviously I'm not the only one that couldn't abuse them off road if it's my money. I'll just off road my 96 Tacoma. Im not worried about scratches and dents. There's already plenty.

Irven Hill lol! People don’t get these to off road them. They get them to daily it. I got my 2019 ford raptor supercrew for my wife to daily drive. I’m going to off road it here and there. But it’s main purpose is daily driving. Just got my vin number today so it will arrive April

Irven Hill Noway! I say you should make much more to justify a 70k car/truck. My wife and I combined make 300k.

@@joemomma7161 A single guy that doesn't live in a McMansion, making over 100k could justify it. A guy with a family and a mortgage--even a reasonable one--probably aught to be atleast in the 200k range. No matter. I own several pickups over $50,000 in my business. But they make money. A Raptor, not so much. I wouldn't want to hitch 15,000lbs on it, just like I don't want to offroad it in the extreme. I have no such reservations with my 96 Taco. $3,000 doesn't bother me if it gets dinged. $70,000 would. It would drive me crazy to have all the offroad goodies and just drive around on the road. For that, I'd buy a $38,000 Tundra SR5 and put a supercharger on it. But that's just me.

Yes. It has 2wd and three different 4x4 settings (hi, lo and Auto).

I thought the same-this is my 4th Raptor and after 47K miles (actually after about 2K) I don't miss it at all-this thing has more HP than my C7 and SO much better gas mileage than the older raptors. It's as big an upgrade from Gen1 as Gen1 was to the standard F150. I'd never go back...but I get it...love the sound of a V8.

Regular 87 octane. Even with the turbo, Ford has engineered it to run on 87.

Eduardo Flagg hmm... I’d have to double check the manual. It should he online somewhere. I know the number because I’ve added gas to the truck and it is printed on the fuel door.
