Hope anyone who watches this Mazda 6 review enjoys and finds value with it. I decided to use the KZbin premiere feature for the first time, no idea how that works... but like always, thank you to Capital Mazda of Cary for providing the car. Their information will be in the description, and thank you everyone for watching. Take care.

Mazda is planning a RWD large vehicle platform along with inline-6 Skyactiv-D and Skyactiv-X engines! Hopefully if Mazda redesigns the Mazda6 it'll get RWD and an I6? ;) Love the video and car. I've been in the new 3 and it's very nice for what you pay. The controls have a nice click and touch, lots of high quality materials and glad noise, harshness is among the best in class. Even the current 6 is well made, I prefer it over the Camry and Accord still :D
@MeynMotorGroup5 жыл бұрын
Hey Watson thanks for stopping by really appreciate your kind words!. Yea I heard about those new engines and I'm really excited for that inline 6! Should be amazing, and I don't know if they will make the Mazda 6 RWD as it is a mid size car and no mid sized car has come in RWD. However, they are probably working on a sports sedan or some luxury sedan with the inline 6 similar to what Kia made with the Stinger. Either way I'm really excited for what they are coming out with!. The new 3 is awesome too great choice my friend!

I heard news that AWD is coming to this and the upcoming diesel. I test drove the Signature last year. The low down torque is massive and great for city driving,. Not as fast as a Honda Accord 2.0T, plus you can get that with a manual. But HANDS DOWN, BEST and quietest interior in the segment that puts some more premium cars to shame.
@MeynMotorGroup5 жыл бұрын
I have to agree with your points great observations and yes AWD should be coming which is a game changer for this segment much like Mazda did with the 3. Really excited for that and maybe a potential in line 6 coming although that motor could be reserved for another car. Yea I’m impressed how Mazda went from being a noisy car to luxury car quiet! Love that they listen. Thanks for stopping by my friend

@MeynMotorGroup5 жыл бұрын
Honestly the power delivery on the GT Stinger you will probably get tired of it. This actually feels a bit better to drive plus the interior is superior. Try them both out I saw a Virginia dealership offering 10k off so GT stingers for 28k haha

I currently drive a 2009 Mazda 6, but believe that Mazda has done much better since seperating from Ford. A couple days ago, I had found on Carfax.com a 2016 CX-9 Signature for $26991 with only 21K miles on it. Unfortunately I work 24hr shifts, and they sold it yesterday while I was at work. It was going to be the perfect replacement for my wife's Odyssey Touring. I can't wait to replace my 6 with a newer 3 G or even possibly a 4G Mazda 6 when they finally redesign it. Hard to believe they can improve on the current one though. The new 3 sedan makes me very optimistic though. Amazing what Mazda is able to do as a small niche company. They truly listen to their critiques and customers when it comes to improving their product line. They deserve to see more sales as a result.
@MeynMotorGroup5 жыл бұрын
Totally agree with you my friend! It’s extraordinary how much Mazda does despite their size. They are even working on an In Line 6 engine! This may go in the next gen Mazda 6 I’m thoroughly impressed. And like you said, they actually listen, I’m sure they will go far from here!
@wbwayne88875 жыл бұрын
@@MeynMotorGroup I saw that and developing rwd chassis also. My fear is they will eventually get so premium, I won't be able to afford their upper line anymore. Right now, it works to my benefit, especially in the preowned market. I usually like to let someone else take the new car depreciation.

You do have glowing reviews for mazda. When you bought a new leased car, did you consider a mazda? Why did you not choose it?
@MeynMotorGroup5 жыл бұрын
No I did not actually I had not driven a new Mazda until recently. Honestly I like this more than my Kia Stinger however I would still choose 5.0 Genesis over just about anything haha however, that’s a pretty expensive lease car like twice as much as any Mazda, Toyota, or Honda. I really really want a Miata :)

You don’t like the new 3?
@devongee17765 жыл бұрын
Nope I think it’s overhyped and underpowered. I hate the civic for its looks but it’s the better car for a driver. So is the golf.
@MeynMotorGroup5 жыл бұрын
Civic is definitely a good driving car but the Mazda’s not only drive good, they have a great blend of luxury that the other manufacturers can’t seem to mimic. I do like VWs but they’re just too unreliable which is unfortunate
@devongee17765 жыл бұрын
Exhaust Sports Auto yeah VW is my favorite brand in the small car segment but can’t get past that reliability either

Would you say Mazda is better than Hyundai?
@MeynMotorGroup5 жыл бұрын
Yes but that’s why it costs more. But the thing with Hyundai is they are sooooooo good that for the price you can’t argue it. And it’s not just the price, Hyundai is good period. Mazda is segmented in a way where it’s the best ever however, I don’t know how much that’s worth it to a Kia Hyundai buyer. To a Toyota Honda buyer these Mazda’s will make a lot of sense because it’s the only Japanese car to have a European Audi feel with amazing Interior quality. Again Hyundai is a great buy and you can’t convince a Korean car buyer to go Mazda because in some cases you will be looking at a 5 grand price difference depending on models and trim.

Another great honest review, I like how you explain the rear trunk will not raise open automatically, yet not a negative issue, last video you referenced "whores", this video you mentioned reaching into your "rectum"... 😂, found them both amusing, yet understand the meaning behind the comments, only question I have for you, Is there really a noticeable difference in performance between using regular or premium fuel?... look forward to watch the next video, this comment is from your Australian viewer, take care.

Thank you so much haha that really means a lot to me glad you found value and entertainment and I’m humbled that you are watching from Australia! Unfortunately I do not have an answer to your question as this is a dealer car and I can only say what my experience is from the short amount of time I had with the car. My assumption is no you genuinely would not notice a difference however, for the longevity of the car, premium should be used. Thanks again for stopping by!

I don’t like turbos they wear out faster than regular engines. And won’t last 200,000 miles.
@johnwayne74765 жыл бұрын
All cars last longer if drivin responsibly . High rpm floor stomping road ragers will have problems. The turbo only works when asked to. Normal operation should not cause excessive ware . I think this one sounds good . Without turbo 2.5 is not a lot of motor. Good enough to pass slow traffic. Or cross the continental divide if required with a tubo. I am more than likely going to get one of these. But I’m still shopping around. These seem well made
