Awesome review. A lot of KZbin reviewers just give the specs of cars. I appreciate that you expresses your emotional response to the CX-5. It does appear to be almost exceptional for the class and what you get as a total package. My only gripes are the piano black around the shifter. Really worried it will get all dusty and fingerprints. Also no USB in the dash to charge our phones. A Qi charger and a couple USBs would have been perfect. Also the back seats don't fold flat without moving the front seats forward a bit. I would like to see the headrests on the rear seats flip down so the seats can fold quickly without it being a chore.

This is the exact model I'm buying in October, 2019 but in "Soul Red". Love its design, speed, refined handling and luxury AND the well known Mazda reliability. (Would you REALLY want a VW Tiguan? Well, yes if you like it sitting in the dealer's garage 10% of the time.)

I'd like the white interior but the wife sez it will show wear too fast. I bet it you use a good leather cleaner/preserver on it it will stay white. My dealer says finding a white interior is difficult.

If you turn the mirror control knob center back, it also folds the mirrors in, say for going through a carwash.

Zack...what are your thoughts on the Grand Touring Reserve vs the Signature? Is the Signature worth the extra $2k? Not decided if I prefer the light or dark color headliner. I do like the extra chrome ring on the steering wheel.

Okinawa bebe as far as I know, not much change besides a possible diesel option
