2019 Mustang EcoBoost 1/4 Mile Pulls - Make a Run for the Border - Torque App Overview

In Part 1, I cover the install process for the EVAP Purge Valve and the Low Fuel Pressure sensor on my 2019 EcoBoost Mustang. The parts were ordered from online TASCAParts.com, part numbers below. The install is pretty straight forward and only takes a few minutes.
In Part 2 I start the car and check my codes using an OBDII and the Torque App. I walk through some of the apps features and then afterwards I take the car to Mexico for a couple of pulls. I go over my process for launching the car and how I have been doing my 1/4 mile pulls using track apps.

Man, your really dragging an anchor or something. Did all those mods slow you down, or were these passes done at high temps or elevation? Is your car a Perf Pack? That could be part of the problem. Subbed, I'll have to check out the rest of your videos.

Lol, the mods definitely helped my 0-60 and 1/4 mile times, but on the track the car goes in to limp mode from excessive heat soak. The temps are always over 100 in the summer here in Lancaster and yes, I am at 2700', which equates to about 5,000' density altitude. My car is a Pef Pack, so I am not sure why that would effect this issue, but I am interested in any information you have on this.

The Performance Pack adds weight and aerodynamic drag. It has wider rear tires, which should help, but they're not enough to overcome all of the added weight and drag. The perf pack has heavier wheels and tires, brakes, cooling system, and differential. The wider tires and rear spoiler add drag. Actually your ET isn't bad at all, given your DA and perf pack. My stock 2018 10R80 base model ran 13.23 at 105.6, but my DA was around 1,000'. What state are you in?

@@davescott9409 I am in California in the "High Desert". I ran one of the DA calculators and it says that my numbers would equate to about 12.9 at sea level.

@@davescott9409 FP Tune with K & N Filter, Airaid Intake Tube, CV Fabrications Race FMIC, NGK Iridium 6510 Spark Plugs, BMR IRS Lockout Kit, 25mm Hubcentric Wheel Spacers, updated EVAP Purge Valve and Low Fuel Pressure Sensor, Grill Delete/Mesh Kit install, Motul Racing Brake Fluid and Motul Ester Based Racing Motor Oil. I plan on modding the Hood with larger Extractor Vents, Larger Turbo Kit with Catless Downpipe and aluminum charge pipes as well. That may have to wait until next year though.

Amazing content exactly what I've been trying to find..I have 2018 pp a10 just bought the ford performance pack not yet installed and your videos are what I've been searching for keep it up I've subbed. I also have vocals to put in...looks like you have also are they working good? Are these times with just the ford tune,filter,and airraid? Thanks

Hi Keith, my mods so far are the FP Tune with K&N Filter, Airaid Intake Tube, CV Fabrication Intercooler, NGK Iridium one step closer spark plugs (prepped to .026"), UPR Dual Valve Catch Can and BMR IRS Lockout Kit. I like the Tune, but I mix in some race gas to achieve about 94 octane. The Focals are nice speakers. I should've done an install video on that, but the door panels were removed by a paint shop who did some touch up work for me so I installed the 6.5" speakers in their shop. There is a video of a guy doing the complete install and it is exactly what I did to get them in the factory holes. I am sure you can find it but let me know if you have questions about it. They sound good, but I need to get a sub and do some adjustments using FORSCAN to really tweak it.
