Ecoboost Mustang PD Tuning Process with Cobb AP

Is it possible to have pd tune and transmission tune done on stock 2017 ecoboost auto? The only thing i might do is get a drop in air filter.

@@mustangmodsecoboostgarage6539 so when you had the final pd tune done was it a really big difference compared to stock? Has there been any issues or has it been pretty smooth sailing?

@@xrmte Yes, I probably went up to about 375 WHP and over 400 WTQ with the E30 tune. However, I pushed my car too hard with the stock turbo and block overheated causing a warp and the head gasket blew. I had everything replaced under warranty though and have not gone back to the E30 tune ever since.

I just got my base map but I'm having the hardest time figuring out how to do the next steps lol

What next step? Have you loaded the base map, or do you need help with that? Loading the map is easy once you install it on the device. My video walks through the entire process. Next step would be data logging. This is super easy as well.

Brian, I am new to the Ecoboost Mustang. You do an excellent job explaining the process of custom tuning the car. I like how you data log as you drive and upload it to your tuner for evaluation. Were you able to save the factory tune that came with the car? Thanks for taking the time to share this information, Tom Elam

Hi Thomas, thanks for the feedback. The factory Tune is automatically restored to the car when you Uninstall your Access Port.

Can u add this tune ontop of the stage tune you already have installed? or must delete stage 2 tune and only run PD burble tune

No, you can only run one tune at a time. If you contact Ryan at PD he can customize a tune for you that may be able to include a bubble tune, but not really sure.
