2019 Porsche Cayenne S and Turbo Review

The all-new Porsche Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo are finally arriving in North America. These new models are built on the third-generation Cayenne platform that is slightly larger than the last model but lighter and with more power.The Porsche Cayenne has been out for 16 years, this 5-passenger utility vehicle has the perfect balance of space, power, design and prestige to make it one of the best, if not the best utility on the road. The design of the all-new 2019 Porsche Cayenne isn't radical, in fact it is a rather basic change from the last model. It has grown ever so slightly in length and wheelbase but from the front it looks similar. The back is the most distinct with a new light bar that connect the two rear cluster lamps, similar the Panamera and a reference to older Carrera models. The interior now has a 12.3-inch centre screen and two TFT screens behind the steering wheel but the overall design remains the same.

Thanks for the review Zack. As a Porsche owner, I’ve been invited to their Winter Experience more than a few times. I’d LOVE to go....however that (3 day!) course is more than I would like typically spend on Vacations with my whole family for the whole Summer. That aside ... The tires used(Nokian Hakkapelitia studded) is great. I have had several generations of them. Great grip on snow and ice. They have a traditions of always winning tire tests in Sweden.

I have owned both the earlier-generation and latest-generation Porsches with the buttons vs. piano-black control panels. I, too, prefer the old button design, but it's not the smudging of fingerprints on the new versions that is the biggest reason why: it's that the new surfaces aren't as responsive as the old buttons, and they are harder to locate because they don't have depressed areas to more easily find your way (especially when you are driving and can't take your eyes off the road for long). This is just poor design. And despite having a Porsche with the new system for nearly a year now, I'm still not comfortable with the layout -- whereas on the old Porsches, it was very easy to adapt to, within a week. I'm very happy to see that the 2019 Macan is coming with the awesome new computer screen but is retaining the old buttons in the center console area; I wish Panamera and Cayenne had done the same.

The face lifted range rover sport is not that comfortable, seats are a bit firm and don't have lumber support not even as an optiom and in the backseats you seem to sit a little bit low and you also can't stretch your legs as far as you'd like to, as the driver seat is not that very raised up. Also you don't get that much support for your legs in the back. But I do think it is a better looking car and there are also a lot of good things to say about it

You seem to sit a bit high which gives you a good view out, and it's great for carrying 3 in the back as it has a flat floor and because of its wide square body the people on the outer seats won't end up rubbing there head against the corners, you also get lots of knee and headroom, and storage is also great. And a lot more
