I'm considering a base/mid spec corolla hybrid compared to the base spec camry hybrid. Yes, it's more money to jump up a class but my question is, would the refinement of comfort and hybrid tech a step ahead of the corolla hybrid? I don't need the space of the camry as this would be a secondary A to B car only and a hatchback would be ideal for me. What would you do if you are in my shoe? Save some bucks on the corrola or invest a bit more for better comfort and hybrid tech on a base camry? Thanks and subbed. Keep up the good job.

Have you test driven both vehicles? You oughta test them both out. In terms of hybrid refinement, it's basically identical besides the power difference. That's what over 2 decades of Toyota hybrid refinement does. Obviously comfort is much better in the Camry (that's why all the taxis in Australia are Camry hybrids). Therefore, if I had the extra money, the hybrid base Camry would be the pick. Otherwise, if you don't mind less space, power, noise insulation, and mind the cost, a base/mid spec hybrid corolla is perfectly fine.

Once I saw the car I wanted one, looks great, it's a Toyota so you know there will hardly be any mechanical problems and will take you far. Once I sat in it I felt a little squashed and crammed in. Im not a small guy but i would of thought it would be a little bigger than was. Steered me away from it and ended up getting a I30 NPremium.
