For those who own this car I think it’s a safe speed limit. It seems pretty quick but as an owner of a 2019 Corolla LE I learned that my stock tires have a speed rate limit which is 130mph. Every car tire rating is different.

If you're going with the 2014 and above corolla. Be sure to do a fluid change every 50k miles or so. Coz this has a CVT transmission which is generally found to be slightly unreliable. Otherwise this car is amazing!
@mikael4126
@mikael4126 3 жыл бұрын
@@ayan8233 Please stop spreading misinformation. The only CVTs that suck are the initial ones Nissan made. They are very reliable now. And 50k miles should be the standard when it comes to transmission fluid change and it would be better to do it earlier.

I had one of these and will say it felt a little sketch driving it at higher speeds. The car felt moved around more than I liked above 90mph and the wind noise made it more scary. I now drive an Audi and it feels at home driving 90-100mph. It feels extremely planted and able to handle the high speeds. The Toyota, not so much

@awaters0206 I had good tires on my Corolla as well, Michelin pilot sport AS4s, same setup I’m running on my Audi. I’m not saying the Corolla couldn’t handle the higher speeds, but I just didn’t feel safe. Bumps upset the suspension, moved around a bit, and engine was working hard. 90mph in the Audi feels like 65mph did in the Corolla.

I had a Corolla 95 (1.6 L engine) which was let go to buy a newer one when it reached almost 600K km there was nothing wrong with that car, it was just outdated. Then we bought an LE 2017 (1.8 L engine). In the 95 the fastest I could go before feeling uncomfortable because seemed like it wanted to take off the road, was 160 Km/hr. In the 2017, I reached close to 190, only once, and cannot recall if it was that it could not go faster OR if I decided not to continue fearing wildlife jumping on the road. Here I see that you bailed out at a similar speed. You could not go faster, or that was enough for you?

I see when you speed up in M mode (push the gear control stick to the left), you don't have to shift up the gear stick by hand.
