I also bought my 2011 golf in the same store which is sutliff golf in harrisburg PA. they were extremly kind not only selling the car, also gave me great after service during under warranty. on 2016, I moved to south korea, and i am still driving same car and it runs like a new still now. just suprised that u provided the gti by them. :)

Gold Pony, How do like compared to your GT. Keep in mind viewers this car is a tuner's paradise! Stock HP around 230, stage 1+ tune is 310. Torque goes from 258 to 358. This is on a car weight from 2,850lds to Autobahn weight of 3100lbs. That is a 10lb per HP ratio in the Autobahn. What is a Mustang GT stock? MPG 34 HWY at 310hp.

The Mustang is quicker to 60 and 1/4 mile but the 6spd in the GTI is near perfection! Also, the fact that the GTI gave me zero torque steer was also very impressive! 👍

@@goldpony a stage 2 dsg gti is on the tail of your gt from 40 on. Never mind the is38 upgrade warrantied by vw in my area, very impressive car for the money with minor mods.

the US spec seems crap compared to what we get in Australia. The active display is standard. I can't believe VW deployed a hand-brake in GTI?? And Aus version GTI is made in Germany.

Jesse James sorry I ignored the first part of his question and only answered the 2nd. Yeah golf R only has the cockpit but can be retrofitted to the mk7 GTI’s with MIB2

Golf R has 8” touchscreen and digital cockpit, GTI only gets 8” touchscreen. E-golf gets 9.25” touchscreen and digital cockpit

Open Road VW Manhattan would not honor the sunroof warranty on my 2019 Golf Alltrack, even though it is still under warranty and I've had all the recommended VW service. Now my sunroof is leaking. Water has leaked into the carpet and padding underneath, and VW will not honor their warranty. This problem is rampant in VWs. Very dishonest. I would not purchase another VW due to abysmal dealer performance and lack of support from VW USA. The culture is rotten at VW.

It's a nice looking interior, but I was really disappointed to see all that gloss-black plastic. That crap looks cheap, basically highlights fingerprints so it's always dirty, and doesn't age well at all...especially if exposed to the sun. In terms of appearance, that's really my only gripe. The rest of the interior looks good and the exterior looks great, too.
