I also upgraded from an S to a GLI S, just so I can fit the downpipe from my R that I had. Also you can fit 20x8.5s wheels on the Jetta. And up to a 255 tire without rubbing.

Steven Montero Nice thanks for the update. I haven’t been able to find a downpipe yet,But definitely thinking about doing a tune here in the next couple months

I would love all the information on how and where you got the piping from or maybe you could make the charge pipe and the intake for me I would love to have that set up I can't find anything else right now either I just got mine Friday February 26th I bought a 2019 Jetta and I'm very new at this Jetta thing so I would like to see if this would help
@FF54Vic3 жыл бұрын
I’m actually looking into coming up with the specs. If you go to the charge pipe video I did list everything you would need in the description of the video. The vast majority of it was purchased on eBay. Then the rest of it as far as cuts and position of the piping is basically straight forward.
@FF54Vic3 жыл бұрын
Yeah if you have any questions feel free to ask. I try to make my videos as detail oriented as I possibly can because this is also my first Volkswagen as well. I have made seven intakes so far for other people off of KZbin. That were interested in adding an intake to their‘s. I also helped walk a guy through making his own charge pipe with a blow off valve through emailing each other.I’m actually going to be posting some other videos here coming up for other things you’re able to do the Jetta’s to change how they look.

I have a Jetta 2019 1.4T I want to put lights in the front lights and add lights to the interior of the car do you think you could show me and I mean as on the dash and around the gear shift
@FF54Vic2 жыл бұрын
I have a video uploaded I believe of how to do the lighting and what wires to tap into for them to come on automatically with the auto headlight function. I believe I also have another video of where I just the lights on the exterior of the car showing where I put the toggle switch

I just installed an AWE exhaust on my 2018 Jetta. This silencer removal interested me. Looking for more turbo sound. Uploading removal video soon?
@FF54Vic4 жыл бұрын
DäsAuto TSI Yeah I’m actually going to be uploading a video of the Exhaust says the silencer has been removed and I’m also currently researching an aftermarket downpipe to install. I have several videos I’m going to be doing involving the Jetta. But my work schedule has been absolutely crazy so I haven’t had time to really do any. I will try to have an exhaust video uploaded by Saturday

hey man i have same car all black im looking to get intake and the pipe to the turbo i see you live in pa same here
@FF54Vic4 жыл бұрын
Christopher Smith where are you located at in PA going to be going through some of the extra piping I have and seeing if I can fabricate any more intakes for this Jetta or the 2019 I should say. They do have some intakes but they are pretty pricey so I’ve just decided to fabricate my own. And one thing I do to the intakes that I fabricate is I give them a brushed aluminum finish rather than the shiny aluminum just to stand apart. From the main stream intakes that you could use because I haven’t figured out a name to put on the intake piping I’ve been custom making.

I have a 2017 and that part where the turbo outlet connects to the charge pipe is a horrible design from VW. It’s terrible and been a source of leaks for a while now to the point im considering making my own.

Did you paint or rap your grill Matt black?
@FF54Vic3 жыл бұрын
No I actually just plasti dipped the grill And the rest of the chrome on the car. However now with that being said I am looking at getting some wrap work done,And I think when I go that route I’m going to have them wrap the chrome that I plasti dipped.

What would you recommend for easy performance mods for this model without doing any HUGE modifications? Love the ride 🤙
@FF54Vic4 жыл бұрын
Ohlu Honestly if you’re looking to do an easy performance mod. I would say do an intake on it. It’ll definitely give your turbo louder sound as well as the swoosh when it recirculates into the intake. Another thing you can look at is eliminating your silencer and the resonator. There is no O2 sensor in either one of them so you can completely illuminate them with straight pipe. My Jetta is currently straight pipe from the downpipe back to the muffler. And I’m currently looking for an aftermarket downpipe. Another thing you can do is cosmetic mods that will help change the appearance of your vehicle as well
@FF54Vic4 жыл бұрын
Ohlu Also on a sidenote I do have an additional intake piping I believe as well as a silicone coupling. That I had on my Jetta before upgraded to a larger diameter piping for the intake. If you’re interested I could give you a price on that with a filter and what shipping would be. I can check tomorrow when I’m done at work to verify that I do actually still have one.
@awhlu4 жыл бұрын
FF54 Vic thanks for the info!! That would be pretty sweet if you could get me some more info on that I’d really appreciate it, I’m really wanting to do something small cosmetically like what you’ve done, looks clean! I was checking out cold air intakes and I see AEM has one that was going to possibly get, just wanted to make sure it was a good bang for your buck.
@FF54Vic4 жыл бұрын
Ohlu i’m actually going to be getting or I should say taking off the front lip I have mounted on my Jetta currently because I ordered a different style. So that is an extra part that will just be laying around my garage if you’re interested I could give you a price on that with shipping to your location. It would be cheaper than purchasing the same one I bought from eBay. With that being said I would also cut down on your shipping time because they come from China like most of the aftermarket cosmetic parts I’m signing for this vehicle. Because there isn’t a US manufacturer Currently making them that I found
@FF54Vic4 жыл бұрын
Ohlu So I checked in my garage I do have a 2 1/2 intake pipe left I could fabricate it up to fit your Jetta. Did you say your Jetta is also a 2019? I also have a filter and a silicone coupling if you’re interested send me your email and I could give you a price on what it would be for the intake with the filter and silicone coupling. The only thing you would have to get would be a small hose to go from the top of the motor or the engine crank air supply to the intake.

What front lip is that?
@FF54Vic4 жыл бұрын
William Dixon III Honestly I’m not 100% sure of the brand I got it on eBay I’ll tag you in the next comment with a link to the same front lip I bought.
@FF54Vic4 жыл бұрын
William Dixon III So I went back in to my eBay purchases however it won’t let me click on the link. But if you search universal front lip or you could actually even search 2019 V wagon Jetta front lip and it should bring up several different variations including the one I have.
@quiles3514 жыл бұрын
William Dixon III hey if you look on ebay you will find it just make aure you do get the 4 piece front lip and not the 3 piece the one FF54 has is the 4 piece one
@FF54Vic4 жыл бұрын
Jaime Quiles Correct I have a three piece one I’ve been kicking around ordering the four piece front lip but I’m still up in the air on it. They have it where it’s already painted white to match the car that’s what I’m looking at
@quiles3514 жыл бұрын
FF54 Vic yea i have the 4 piece one the 3 piece is way to big where did you order your rear spoiler i want that same one with out the 3rd brake light thing

Where do I get that cold air intake?
@FF54Vic4 жыл бұрын
Omar dominguez Actually customized it The piping is actually for an accord intake at some length modifications. And then you would just need a 2 inch to 3 inch coupling to go over the factory intake inlet
@jamesward51044 жыл бұрын
Where did you get your front fender lip from??
@FF54Vic3 жыл бұрын
I ordered the front lip off of eBay a lot of the parts will come from China. All I did was punch in 2019 Jetta front lip they will have several different styles some can actually even be bought that are paying it already.

Hey buddy just v getting started on my pipe and wanted to know the airline from the intake to the charge pipe is what size and if i keep original intake system Can't I just take the airline off the old charge pipe and plug it on to the stem that comes off of the new aluminum charge pipe. I just don't see it in the video of your overview I was curious if you plugged it from the bottom did you use a regular hose clamp

Hey you still running it without the second cat? I removed mine and started getting codes I have the 2019 Jetta 1.4t mt
@FF54Vic3 жыл бұрын
I am still currently running street light from the downpipe back. I do still have the cat on the downpipe but nothing back till it gets to the muffler. I have not received any check engine codes for that. What code comes up on a code reader? I had to take my Jetta to the dealership to have an N 80 sensor replaced. That’s a sensor that is going out and some of the models.
