So glad to have stumbled across this video. Back in the mid 80's as a boy scout we made this trek up below squaw pass for a basecamp, and then, did a few excursions over to red castle etc. over the next week. I think about this trip quite often and it was almost surreal to see some of the same scenery again. I am happy to say that my recollection of it was pretty spot on as compared to your video. Thank you SO much, this has just make my day!

That is some fantastic scenery. I think we're about the same "vintage" as I'll be 65 in October. 24 miles in a day is huge for us, especially here in the Rockies with the altitude. I'm not a fan of mud or stream crossings either. Neither seem to appeal to me any more than they did years ago. Anyway, great job filming and thanks again for sharing your hike!
