Loving the content! I do have some constructive criticism though. When you mention the drivers you often use just their first name, as a journalist school student this grinds my gears haha. We're always told to use either their full name or just their last name because only using their first names will make it sound like we're their personal friends and is a big nono in journalism. Obviously the channel is yours and you can do whatever you like, this is just food for thought :)

it depends on the set up and flow honestly for me. My writing style I don't like repeating the same name over and over. It gets highly monotonous. to your point, I NEVER lead with the first mention as the first name though. but def will keep this in mind!

Love these style of videos Nick. I’m pretty sure Hamilton will run and hide tomorrow. I’m really excited to see how Renault go with Ricciardo although I’m not too sure whether they can keep up with Merc and Max on race pace. I think we will get a lot of battling between Racing Point and McLaren. Ferrari will have a very tough day tomorrow. And my biggest surprise is gonna be George in the points. One thing to add, imagine Fernando Alonso was in that Renault this weekend... just food for thought.

En rouge is one of the best corners in F1. Full throttle, slight left then flick right up the hill. It was not long ago that Ferrari were challenging the Mecs at these high speed tracks. To have both cars fail to make Q3 is shocking. Great stuff dude, loads of info as always.

Nice video format. Concise, comprehensive and full of the below the fold storylines that makes these races interesting in the Hamilton Era. HAM is interesting in that he finds a lot of ways to motivate himself that are unusual for other drivers, and the death of Chadwick Bozeman is one of them, but you CANNOT argue with the results. Dude was sublime in Qualy and is just on a different driving plane this season. Will keep my eye on the midfield as well. Maybe the next time you can also highlight some of the more important historic stories from each track? The intro showed Mika's absolutely sensational pass on Schuey at Spa- More small things like that would be welcome. That said, tremendous job and many thanks!

I Went back and forth. consistency was important to me here. I don't like casually mentioning death even when it's a tribute. it's just how I've made content and the respect I have for the sport as a content creator though I think it was a miss that I didn't atleast pay some tribute at the beginning. thanks for that feedback! Loved the video, and this type in particular. I find your videos very informative. However sometimes I think especially at the start of videos you go through information quite fast. A fraction slower would make the high volume of info more digestible and memorable. Don't reduce the volume of info as I find this great, just pace of delivery. Thanks again!

Aweslme feedback, Sivaraja Sivanesan! Would be recommend anything functional in terms of something I can do or give? I'll def keep in mind the pace of delivery - for face to cam, I still have work to do on the way I talk this stuff. voiceovers I have done better - but when talking formula 1 it's hard not to get too excited haha but I def need to slow down. would bullet points effectively and cleverly added on screen at times help? I noticed I dont use lower thirds very well when I do face to cam. Otherwise, I'll keep working on delivery!

@@CYMotorsport firstly yes. Now the next comments may be just me, so please take this as personal opinion and not what your many subscribers may like!! With that disclaimer set it is a bit like a rollercoster, sometimes the points are nice and paced then it ramps up and there is a rush of sentences, before slowing down again. It is these peaks of pace that are the challenge. Allowing points/sentences to breathe more before moving onto the next point i think could help, this is also because you have nice smooth audio delivery , but this delivers less modulation in your audio making it harder to grab onto points. Final idea would be to some level of recap at the end or at end of sections (without it becoming to school teachery). I hope thats useful, as I said may be just me, overall love the vids, but I think this would help in your longer vids too as your vidoes are so content rich, I can only imagine how long they take to make. Right best get downstairs to set myself up for the race!
