I own the Genesis G70 3.3.T. I'm given a 2.0 as a loaner when my vehicle is in for service. I'm impressed with it. Power is very pleasing. The only issue that I has with it, was the start stop system. At first I thought the guy behind me, bumped into me. It wasn't until the second time that I realized that it was the start stop system. After turning it off. Great car

Yep, i have a 2.0 loaner atm, im actually having fun with it, you step on the gas in the v6 and within 2sec you're stepping on the brake, not gonna give up my 3.3t sport but... its more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow. Now i know what that blank button is for in my car.

i'm not a major car fanatic or anything, but i do have to say one critical thing. if genesis wanted to really get that A+++ they should've really moved away from the generic Hyundai function sounds. i love both brands, but to really differentiate a luxury from generic, i think reminding customers that this is "not a hyundai" with different beeps and bops would go a long fking way

Great looking design. One beef...the shape of the display. Should have made it to retract, on, and two the shape, sharp entry into the dash top, rounded edges at the top not a good mix imo. Otherwise it is a worthy machine.

msrp on these are around 36,000 not sure why that invoice says 38,000 and for that price consider bmw 3 series standard as well, the realistic negotiating price on these are around 30K

I looked at this and really liked it. Then I went to Kia and looked at a Stinger but it was too much money due to low rebates. I looked at the 2020 Optima S and realized that more or less it was just as good as this minus the horsepower. I personally think that the Optima S is the best bargain on the road at $26,000 and love mine.

What is “auto hold” and does that infotainment center lower and raise from the dash? Seem like kind of an awkward placement if it doesn’t.

No, the infotainment system does not move. Auto hold is a feature where if you come to a stop, like in a drive thru or red light, you push the button and you can let your foot off the break. It automatically holds you in place, and when you're ready to move forward again you just push on the gas pedal and the break immediately disengages and you're on your way.

auto hold is a kind of automatic parking brake. if you turn on it, when you stop the car it automatically holds the parking brake, and when you start it spontaneously lifts the parking brake. so if you are in auto hold mode, you don't need to hold your foot on the footbrake after you stop. instead you can relax your right leg after you stop until you start again.

The rear of most sedans are hideous. The Mazda 6 would've been perfect if they made the trunk look like the Mazda 3. The G70 2020 would've been gorgeous if they used the 2021 version trunk. :( Sad, the 2021 Genesis front end isnt very appealing to me.
