The shower looks amazing! After a deep clean like that, consider using a sealer to keep the mold, mildew, and soap scum from penetrating deeply. My tile guy recommended me to repeat a deep clean & seal every 6 months and it is sooo much easier to keep clean regularly.

Regarding your shower- I was sick for half of 2019 and didn’t feel much like cleaning. I managed to keep up in most places but my shower got pretty bad. When I was finally was feeling better, I tackled the job of cleaning it. I vowed to never let it get that bad again. The real game changer is using the hand held shower head to rinse down the shower walls after each shower and then using a synthetic chamois (shammy) to dry down the entire stall. It works tremendously well. I have zero water spots or soap scum. I have very sensitive skin so not using any harsh cleansers is a great advantage. I actually found your channel back in January-February this year and you really helped motivate me to get back into the swing of a regular routine. Really appreciate that and hope my shower tips can help you too!

I am with you Amy, showers are a pain. I am very busy so I leave a small bottle of bleach cleaner in the shower and spray a few times a week. It keeps the shower clean and keeps the mold at a minimum. You have wonderful ideas and it's a pleasure to watch you channel.

I hate cleaning the shower too. I got a shower cleaner hack from a lady on Tik Tok who has a cleaning service. She gets a spray bottle and puts in blue Dawn dish soap, about 1/3 full, then fills up spray bottle with white vinegar. I tried it and it works like a charm for soap scum! You do need to wear a mask and ventilate area because the vinegar smell is strong! Much cheaper than expensive cleaners.

I love how you took the time in this video to go into how you cleaned your shower rather than just showing inspo (though I love your inspo too!) I had a lot of weekly chores growing up, but my mom did the deep cleaning and learning how to do that properly has been something I've needed to learn since getting my own apartment. Yes showers with shower doors. Do you have a water softener? I have had a cleaning co now for 18 yrs. Huge difference with one. Also i know you don't like a lot of chemicals but CLR bathroom cleaner works so good. Also get a shower squeegee. And a daily shower cleaner, spray after and leave shower door open to vent to dry all way. Love your videos

33:05 showing off that beautiful pedi? i LOVE pine sol. i also sometimes use it (diluted) on my kitchen counters, toilet and shower walls… directions say you can also use for laundry but not sure i’d trust that.

I use Pine sol for everything. I like to use it for my dog's beddings and some of my old towels! Works great and not over powering on scent!

Do a mix of water, bleach and powered tide laundry detergent and it will clean that shower like new!

Thought I’d share.. on See Jane Drill where a female Plumber/Construction Expert showed in one of her videos.. she said it’s perfectly ok to use toilet bowl cleaner in your grout lines in the shower! I personally 💜Love💜 the Scentiva Tuscan Jasmine & Lavender T/B clearer. It smells awesome & keeps those horrible water lines away!!! Also.. the Windshield glass RainX keeps the glass doors streak-free!! Sooo Jeep that in mind the next shower cleaning job! Try it you’ll like it!!! M

Love the videos :) I saw Pine Sol in the video. I read that Pine Oil that's in those products is not good for pets. Because it's like they would walk on the floors and then they tend to lick themselves and then that oil will go into their system.

Hi Amy!! The shower cleaning was super satisfying. They say the best thing to clean shower tiles is toilet bowl cleaner and clean the shower head in vinegar. I haven't tried either since I have a yellow tub combo but when we remodel that's one of the big things I want to change. I absolutely hate it but right now it does it's job. Same- shower!! I just bought a house and everything was redone except my bedroom shower. Super small, tight fit shower with an old school shower glass door....difficult. The tile is a beige color and shows all the water marks and scum....hate it. I never thought to use my steamer. I use my steamer for my hard wood floors. My friend told me it's the best for my floors, no film, streaks, or stickiness from floor cleaners. oh yeah...my white cabinets in my kitchen!! Seems like they always have spots...no matter how much i wipe them!

Oh my gosh I hear you on cleaning the shower. I’m not a fan of cleaning it either. I can say mine has quite a bit of soap scum build up on it. We thought we would get it cleaned at one point. I was so excited to get it professionally cleaned. But, to my disappointment they weren’t able to get rid of all that soap scum. What a waist of money. I just wish I did a better job keeping it clean so I wouldn’t have this issue. I’m jealous, your shower looks great! My will to, the day we re-tile it. Love your channel!

Bleach is your best friend for showers. Once a week I use tilex and spray down my shower, this keeps me from ever having to scrub it because it doesn't have a chance to build up.

If you combine Epsom salt, baking soda and dish detergent it takes off all the scum off of glass doors. It’s also a great tile cleaner too. I have to close myself in my shower in order to clean it so it has to be nontoxic stuff
