I like the Jeep Gladiator but i prefer the manual!

I test drove both, the manual in the gladiator is all messed up. The gearing is all jacked up and it sucks. I love standard trans, but in this truck I’d never get the manual. The wrangler manual trans was much better.

And as for motor, the ecodiesel isn’t available yet and don’t know when it’ll actually be available for purchase. So I didn’t want to wait, I bought a gas rubicon gladiator a couple months ago, and I gotta say honestly, I love it. I came from a first gen 4 door Tacoma 4x4, and my rubicon rides much nicer overall in all aspects vs the taco, stock vs stock, except: Only thing negative I will say is that the steering on the solid axle isn’t as nice as the ifs. Mines wonder a bit, not as bad as some on KZbin show, but it can’t compare to the ifs rack and pinion. around town, not much difference but on the freeway at higher speeds, you can’t just let go and it’s just not “steer with your knees” stable, like on my taco.
