I installed the same kit on my JT Rubicon without loosening the track bar or control arms at all. Saved a lot of time and everything went smooth. I love the look on mine. Installed 35 in Nitto Trail grapplers and they look great! Totally agree that Tera flex is the way to go

So just to be clear I won’t need to buy shock extensions right? It’s not needed since is less then 2 inches? The guys at the shop here in town keep telling me I need to buy shock extensions, the spacers alone won’t work. 🙃 I’m like you guys are just trying to get over on me. I still have the factory wheels right now.. so the living kit is perfect. Because if I do the 2 inch lift kit my wheels will look too small for my Jeep smh ☠️

I didn’t need shock extensions for my Rubicon. I don’t know if there’s a difference for non-Rubicon Gladiators. If you have a Rubicon, there should be no issue.

Yeah it’s higher in the rear stock, but that looks much better than the rear sagging once you put weight in the back. It only takes a couple hundred pounds of payload to level the thing out. . This and airbag helpers would be great though.

That is a great and informative video. My only question is: is a front end alignment necessary after installation? This will be my only modification to the suspension because no.1, it rides too good now and no.2, I'm 60 and too old and sore to climb in lifted Jeeps anymore. My JT Sport came with a lot of extras since I bought it in 2020 including a hitch, trailer wiring, great sound system and remote start. I've so far only changed the bumpers to have steel front and rear. Next is flat flairs after the leveling kit and that's all. This is my fifth Jeep

I’m 60 also and just bought a JT Rubicon. Don’t want to go too high on a lift coz it’s getting harder and harder to get into it especially when I have to carry my 65 pound boxer dog on her daily trips to the park. This lift is what I’m going to get. Maybe 35” tires down the road.

Quick question brother. Has nothing to do with what you’re talking about but hope you might know, based on what you did to your truck. I have a 2021 Stock Gladiator Willys edition. One thing that I’ve noticed, whenever the truck sits for a long period, let’s say overnight 8/10 hours. In the morning, when I start slowing down and come to a stop, I hear this weird sound, almost as the spring “crunches” as it compresses and again when I take off and decompresses. After driving a while, it won’t do it again and it won’t do it if I stop hard and take off quickly. Would you have any idea what it might be? Thank you.

Great video. Helped a ton putting the 1.5" yesterday. I also realized you don't need a rachet strap if you up the axle with floor jack while on jack stands such that the track bolt will align. @@21SethG you bet man! You did a great job. i am now considering the 1.5" Teraflex kit. I didnt realize they were adjustable stage heights. I was considering going with the 2" Mopar, paired with the 3/4" Daystar spacer at all 4 corners. A few other Texas guys in the FB groups are running that combo and it looks outstanding with 37's and will more than suit my on and off road needs. Ive been reading alot about the adjustable track bar and pan hard bar relocation bracket, and will consider upgrading them to keep as close to stock tolerances as possible. Aparantly its shifts the axle over 3/4" -1" from factory. Youd think they'd include something like that in their kit as much as it costs compared to others. I am still on the fence about what tire size i plan to go with next, 35 or 37 though, especially with a manual as well as wanting to keep my stock black aluminum wheels. I didnt purchase the gladiator based on its expected fuel economy (currently 19-22mpg), but i definitely want to maintain some of it. So maybe 35's will take the cake? or ill just bite the bullet and do 37's with the plan to regear to 4.88's. who knows. Keep it up man, looking forward to the next mod. I should have my manual review up soon.

Hey Soumen! I can tell you how I did it. If you go to the 5:00 minute mark of the video you can visually see where I put my jack stands. Essentially, I placed them on the frame behind the front axle. There’s not a “specific” jack point to my knowledge, because it’s not a unibody vehicle. You may check your vehicle manual to see if it calls out specifically recommended jack points. Hope that helps.
