Welcome back to TheDriveGuyde where I have the keys to 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon in the 2-door format with the 3.6L Pentastar V6 with the mild-hybrid eTorque system! I'm not even sure where to begin with the Rubicon, there is so much to discuss about driving and living with this rugged off-roader. It's a car I would never buy, but I have really enjoyed my time driving it! Watch my full review here!
Please like, comment and share this video with others, it would be greatly appreciated!

Dude lost all credibility with me, seconds into the video, when he began calling the Jeep a car.

Just an FYI, when you had the back seats in the up position; if you grab the double bar on bottom the assembly slides out. Super easy 👍

We have a 2019 Sahara and experienced that steering problem big time on the highway, our 2011 wrangler never had any steering problems. When we brought our 2019 Sahara for its first service at 1,000 miles they did a “ RECALL” on the steering box for the problem, since then? A lot better ! The 2011 was a lot wider, the 2019 is kinda a bit not as wide but we’ve gotten used to it! With all the upgrades in our new Sahara? We love her !! Our 4th Jeep ! Can I see a “ WAVE” ?

Stellar video, Max! I really like the paint job on this Wrangler and those neat red dashboard accents. Makes the Wrangler stand out even more (as if it doesn't enough)! Haha! It'll be interesting to see how the upcoming Bronco stacks up to this.

The rear seat assembly slides out quite easily in practice. Perhaps I misunderstood you. But removing the rear seat is like - step #1 when I set up a new Wrangler. Takes 5 mins.

The Etorque was really designed to meet emissions standards, as it ups city mpg (especially on the 5.7 hemi in the ram, which FCA sells almost 400,000 a year of). In terms of user practicality, not really any advantage

I disagree. In my experience, the etorque v6 drives much more smartly , sharper than the standard pentastar. And does so with substantially better real world fuel economy. I get 3 mpg better vs my standard. That is the definition of user practicality.

It depends. My Wranglers have been more reliable than my Grand Cherokees and have been more reliable than most other brands I've owned. Apart from not buying the first year or two of a new model, I think Jeep has resolved a lot of its quality control issues. I'd get a 2020 or 2021 Wrangler with no worries.

My several wranglers since 2017 have all been perfectly solid all the way around. Quite happy with the build quality and reliability.

I am curious as to if you know or anyone reading these comments might know, I am the guy who disables my start/stop system stupidest feature ever and now that it is 2022 and the only way I can find the 3.6L WITHOUT Etorque is the manual transmission which is fine for me, but my local dealer almost never gets the manual models,Claims nobady today wants them. but whatever,Anyone know if I get the automatic model with the Etorque and I disable the start/stop crap will that cause any issues?

From what I've found the etorque does take over the job of the starter when enabled; therefore not putting extra strain on the starter and also helping initial engine turn over and early rpms. Saves a bit of gas, plus the new ones take a good amount of time before the engine shuts off and when it does it really isn't that noticeable. It comes into play during gear shifts too; a real advantage in my opinion.

There's a company out of West Virginia that makes a Start/Stop Eliminator for $100. I would contact them and see what they say. I installed one on my 2023 Wrangler V-6 (non Etorque) manual tranny. It took about 20 minutes; throws no codes; and was best money I've ever spent! I too hate that insipid start/stop baloney!
